St. Alexis or Northwest Community?

Hi everyone- I did a search before writing this but didn't find any information more recent than 2013.  I thought I would ask again because medical facilities are always changing.  I have the option of delivering at Northwest Community in Arlington Heights or St. Alexis Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.  I am planning to do the hospital tours of both labor and delivery floors, but was wondering if anyone has had recent experiences at either hospital.  Any information is appreciated.

    Many friends seemed to like st. Alexis. They have a recently new women and children hospital. I have no personal experience with either of them.

    I had twin boys at St. Alexius in August and while I can't comment on the delivery rooms (I had a scheduled c-section) I can tell you that the post-partum rooms are awesome, very roomy, in-room sofa/bed for guests, all the perks. The nursing staff is fantastic and they were great about answering questions and helping when needed. They've got excellent lactation specialists if you're going that route, I was having trouble and they came in several times a day to help out. We even got a gift basket of good-for-you snacks from the food service people.

    The nurses did tend to kind of rush through explanations of babycare and such, but I think that was mainly because they knew I'd been through it before (the twins were babies 5 & 6 for me). They did take their time explaining everything regarding the c-section, anesthesia, and post-surgery care though, as this was my first.

    I was supposed to deliver at NW Comm but they switched me to St Alexius at the last minute. It was a very good experience. Nice rooms, decent food (this is important to me, lol), and the staff were all really great. 
    I have had some insurance billing issues with NW (with one of my other kids) and my insurance literally told me to avoid going back there because it has been such a headache (I am still fighting bills over a year old!). With that said, my sis has delievered 3 times at NW and no problems, so you never know!
