My 2-year-old wants nothing to do with daddy. I'm sure this is some new sibling behavior and regression. But she won't let him do ANYTHING. He works and I am a SAHM. I'm with these two all day. He's gone from 7 am-6 pm at least (sometimes longer). He gets home and she still wants only me. "Mommy uppy. Mommy get dinner. Mommy help. Mommy change diaper. Mommy bath." She makes me feed her (she's perfectly capable of feeding herself, albeit sloppily). I can tell that it's also hurting my husband.
He has done her bath for the past 2+ years. That was their "bonding" since I EBF.
For a week now (LO is 3 weeks old), she won't have it unless I'm in the bathroom too. Tonight I was nursing downstairs and he tried to take her up for bath and she stood at the top baby gate having a major meltdown until I got there. And then I had to do the bath myself, she screamed until he left.
Is this a phase? Any tips? Besides just not letting it happen, because I can't take the screaming. But I'm also EBF LO and I neeeeed DD1 to blow off steam with dad when he gets home. I'm exhausted.
