  • I feel bruised! I totally understand what your saying. It's very uncomfortable. What I will say is that I'm a month out and I still have moments when it hurts, but it's substantially better. My midwife said it was normal and I'd be having it on and off probably for a few months. Those arent muscles that usually get any work out and you just pushed a baby through it, lol

  • Oh my God, u just made me burst into tears, u mean im not alone in this? U mean this is normal? Im happy u understand d pain, because i couldnt even explain to my mun what the pain feels like, she keep saying is normal but i thought she dnt get the explanation of the pain, so i will continue to feel this for a month n even more? Oh my Goodness, i see no fun in having more babies
  • So what do u do to subside the pain? @jacksonsmomma11
  • I'm 6 weeks out and I still have occasional pain and when I sit on the toilet sometimes, I feel painful pressure in the muscles by my labia. Not every time, but I bet once a day I get the pain, and it feels similar to the pressure that i experienced when LO was crowning. It's so weird. My OB said its normal and just have to get things strengthened and maybe do kegels to speed it up. Good luck mama!
  • Glad you posted, I just experienced this last night and was kind of freaked out by it. Not that I should really be surprised, everything hurts so why not that? But I'm 6 days post c-section. Still spent several hours in transition with all the vaginal pressure/pain during labor though, so I guess I get to recover from both vaginal and c/s births at once! ;)
  • Just a thought, but with my first pregnancy, at about 2 weeks pp I started having some awful shooting pains to the point where I could barely sit or stand. It turned out that one of my hips was out from pushing. I went to the chiropractor and he didn't do an adjustment but used some pressure tools to help and it made the world of difference!
This time, I definitely feel soreness. But it is more like achy muscles and nothing like what I experienced last time.
  • 3 weeks pp tomorrow, and my bleeding started up again today (had light discharge starting at week 2) and just started getting really painful twinges/spasms in the muscles around my labia. Not sure if it's the same thing you ladies are experiencing, but it sure isn't helping me get to sleep!
  • I had that too starting really yesterday which would be 10 days. I feel like i got kicked and it's bruised. I had a 2nd degree tear so I'm assuming it's just the pulling from it healing. I also started bleeding again yesterday. I thought it was from doing too much but it's still there (though not as much) this morning. Definitely freaked me out. I feel fantastic so sitting doing nothing sucks. Plus sitting with a 3 year old is kind of non existent.

This is it exactly! Maybe it sounds weird but like when my vagina isn't fully supported? lol because when I'm sitting totally on my butt its fine. When I lay down, it's fine. Just when I squat or sit on the toilet or walk too much is when it hurts! I usually just take a Tylenol or a hot bath if it gets really bad and take it easy! :)
