Hi everyone!
My name is Sophie, I'm 24 and from Oregon. I lost a pregnancy at 5 weeks back in December of 2013. Last Tuesday I found out that I'm pregnant (not sure how far along I am because of cycle inconsistencies) with my rainbow baby. My fiance isn't very on board, so things have been tough lately, but I'm trying to just go day by day because he seems to be warming up to it slowly. I don't know what else to say at the moment, but i wanted to introduce myself. Have a great day, lovelies!

    Thank you btw, I'm so excited. I had my first appointment today and it's the same doc and nurse who helped me during my mmc, and she ran out and was so excited to see me. It made me so happy.

    @sophieophieoh Totally know that feeling! I'm still with the same doc I had with my mmc and the entire staff welcomed me so nicely when I brought good news. It feels like home everytime I go in for an appt :)

    Kimey1- it really is, being welcomed in like family is such a good feeling!

    borgahurst- thank you, and me too. I'm sick of everything else and everyone else feeling like a higher priority. At least he hasn't told me he'd leave if I kept it in the last few days. That was his threat the first few days after we found out, and it hasn't been much of a conversation since..

    Congratulations and welcome here. Hope he comes around, you can do without negativity right now. Try and stay calm and take it one day at a time.

    Congratulations!!!  My doctors office has been amazing as well even the receptionists are rooting for me :-)

    Update: today he told me that he would be more than willing to do open adoption. I assume it's because he doesn't want to put me through the trauma of getting an abortion, which is a nice change. Hoping he'll realize us raising it wouldn't be so bad, but we'll see. Surprise trip to Portland this weekend, though, which will be fun!
