I actually tried to post about this the other day but the app wouldn't let me. I've been having super weird dreams lately. It was the same when I was pg with dd.
January Siggy Challenge: Why I don't shop at Walmart
This post is funny (timing wise). I just had my first weird/scary pregnancy dream last night. I was pregnant in the dream and in a school shooting situation so I was trying to protect my belly. That was the scary part. The weird part? The shooters were professional marksmen and also aliens. I don't even watch scary crap on TV so I don't know why the dream came into my head.
Yes! Well right when I thought I was pregnant before the test, I had a dream where I could actually see the sperm fertilizing my eggs at a super fast speed, it took like 30 seconds. Then I had a dream my SO was cheating . And lastly, I did have a dream that I got an ultrasound and found out I was pregnant with twins! Not sure what they all mean or if they are just my own inner thoughts, but we shall see
So call me spoiled but I normally have what I call lucid dreams where I can do one of two things. I can either realize that I'm dreaming and then start controlling what happens or I'll be having a really interesting dream that is one long story and I'll wake up, but I want to know how it ends so I'll tell DH to give me 10 more minutes and I go back and "unpause" the dream so to speak. Recently I haven't been able to do that and the stress dreams are taking over. Anyone else have the ability to control or pause their dreams?
So I have a weird phobia of like things that look like behives and those lotus flowers (ugh yack just thinking about them make me gag) so anyway my dream last night was that my flooring in our house looked like that, I woke up in a frantic and very nauseas lol.

Interesting. I think I may have something like this. I've always had really long dreams and I have felt I may have control over it. I've never heard anyone else say this!

@adiaz132003 I get those too! Not all the time, but I do dream very realistic dreams. I love it when I realize I'm dreaming and I change what happens.
I had a dream that I had to kill the cast of TWD because they started to turn them into zombies. They were eating people while fully functioning and I had to use my machete to kill them. Pretty messed up!
Ugh!! I have had crazy vivid dreams. Last night, I dreamt I was having an affair with the president of our company (my boss). It was so real I felt guilty this morning. I've never even thought the guy was overly attractive and I'm friends with his wife!! I haven't had a dream that crazy and real feeling since, well, my last pregnancy!
I've just started having some whacked-out, vivid dreams myself. And something weird; a long-distance friend of mine, whom I am in contact with pretty rarely, has an etsy shop and sells beautiful crocheted baby blankets, amiguri stuff, etc. She messaged me out of the blue the other day, saying she had a dream she was supposed to make something for my DD and checking in to make sure I hadn't ordered anything she forgot about. I've never ordered anything from her...but I definitely plan to once we're farther along with this pregnancy. What prompted her to have that dream?!? Cue the Twilight Zone music!!! Edited to add: she does not know I'm pregnant.
Its getting out of control with the vivid weird dreams over here already!
For instance: last night I dreamt that our baby as born a boy, but when I looked more carefully I realized he also had a vagina, but no testes. I decided it was more of a girl, dressed her in pink and let my family 'ooo' and 'ahh' over her while I figured out what to do about her extra bits.
And this is at 4wks (tomorrow)....if this is just the begninng, I'm screwed.
During my TWW, I had vivid dreams almost every night, which was really the only symptom I thought Iight be pregnant before I missed my period. In one of the dreams I had a daughter, 3-4 year old girl with red hair...I'm convinced I'm having a girl now. Oh ya, vivid dreams haven't stopped, they're just getting weirder...

I totally have this! I've had it since I was little. I can also force myself awake during a scary dream. Like I realize it's a dream and literally start telling myself to open my eyes. I love love going back to sleep to finish out a good story line
Y'all will prob think I'm a weirdo for this but 2 weeks before we found out I was pregnant, hubs and I both had a dream the same night that we had a little boy ( we already have a dd). Mine was that I was 9 months pregnant and didn't know it until I gave birth to him and his was a year after giving birth. The following night dh's bff called and told us he had a dream we were pregnant. At that point, I pretty much knew that we were pregnant and now I'm almost positive it's a boy.
A few days before I found out I was pregnant I had a dream that we were watching a meteor shower, which as it got closer we realized it was really explosions in the sky ending the world, and right before it hit us someone started soaking us with water to save us (a hunger games kinda things where someone could control us.) although I didn't pick up on it, that was actually my first pregnancy symptom. I had crazy, vivid, usually scary dreams with DS. Sometimes I didn't even want to go to bed because of them. Unfortunately they are back again.
I've been having vivid dreams, but they're cool. Last night I had a dream DS and I were taking a walk and ended up at Miranda Lambert's house. She was outside watering her garden, but she was totally cool with us walking around her garden while she watered. Also had a dream that we were in Mexico with all my high school friends. That was cool.
I've had really nutty dreams as well! The most vivid was one in which I was douching with a diet soda. I was convinced I needed to douche with a soda, but regular soda has sugar, so I couldn't use that. These dreams are so bizarre.
Such weird dreams here too! Last night I dreamt I was in this line of people to go into this chapel and there was a man washing our feet before we could go in. Then minutes later I was a kid again swimming with my cousins in their pool.
I remember with DD I used to have vivid dreams of DH cheating and I'd be furious with him when I woke up. So much so that I couldn't even stand sleeping next to him. Poor DH.
I love reading everyone's weird dreams! They are honestly one of my favorite things about being pregnant ha. Mine are never too scary though. Last night I had a dream that extra pairs of eyebrows grew above and below my normal eyebrows, and my normal eyebrows fell off. So I couldn't decide which extra pair of eyebrows I should tweeze to look the most normal.
I have super weird dreams when I'm KU. I will never forget when I was pregnant with DS I had a dream that he was born and instead if a baby he was a cat. Not even a nice cat! like a scruffy old ally cat who hissed at anyone who came near him. I remember having to call everyone saying that I wanted to give my shower gifts back. I woke up so panicked!!! It's so funny now but it was traumatic then!

I hate pregnancy dreams. With my first I dreamed I gave birth to twin cats. What's odd is I was angry my SIL hadn't told me there were twins. I was completely ok with birthing and breastfeeding cats in my dream.
Perfect that I saw this just now. I just woke from a nap in a PANIC because I was dreaming that someone was trying to break into our house, and I called the police and they didn't believe me because it was light outside!
I was like, wth, pregnant dreams! Glad I am not the only one.
I had a dream last night that my DH had went out and gotten like 10 different types/brands of HPTs and then somehow managed to get some of my pee and had started taking all the tests with my pee. So I walk in and they're just everywhere, all positive, and I'm like ".....what are you doing?" and he's all "I didn't believe you about the tests after the first faint positive being positive so I wanted to check for myself." The other weird part of the dream was that I was still in college in the dream and I'd gotten lost trying to find my first class (it was apparently the beginning of the semester or something?) and I had wandered into a lab room and that's were DH was doing his "experiment."
So not the weirdest dream ever but I normally don't remember me dreams at all so just the fact that I woke up remembering it was weird.
@KayDray15 My DH travels for work all the time and after we first moved into this house (and I guess I was still getting used to all the normal noises for this house of the house settling and such) I had several dreams about someone breaking in and I'd wake up in a panic. One time I even went and got a knife out of the kitchen to go search the house. )
