By dead, do you mean numb? If so, sounds like a lack of circulation. Make sure you are remaining active, stretch, sleep with a pillow between your legs, and drink water.

All of the above!! I used to get terrible cramps during pregnancy. But rest assured once baby is here the cramps subside
