My due date is at the end of May and our wedding is July 31. We were not expecting to get pregnant so fast but at the same time are overjoyed

especially because both of our families live across the country and will be flying in for it. But I am truly stressing out about my dress! Do I buy one now before I'm too big and try my hardest to work weight off in 2 months. Or do I wait and buy one post baby?? It's my first child so I have no idea how my body will react. Any suggestions ??

If that's not your aesthetic, there are other options (adjustable two-piece ensembles, etc). Many well-made dresses have built in boning/corsets so that even if you are lumpy, the dress won't show it. Avoid satin.
But! You are by no means the first person to deal with this: go to a proper established bridal salon (I recommend Macy's if you're anywhere near Chicago)--not David's Bridal where none of the assistants have been there for more than a year. They will have recommendations and they will know what alterations can be made to which dresses. You don't need to buy there, but you'll get valuable advice.
But buy now: it takes 4-6 months for an ordered dress to arrive sans rushing fees, and you can alter it much more quickly than that.

They are normally in stock and ready to ship. In the meantime, you can buy your veil, hairpieces, jewelery, etc.

Just speaking from experience- the 2 months leading up to your wedding are stressful, adding a new born on top of the wedding stress would be a lot for anyone... Throwing dress shopping AND alterations would be too much.
