A friend of mine used a Diva cup (menstrual cup) and got pregnant her first try doing it. She swears up and down that is the reason why. Unfortunately, she miscarried. I can only think she's tried it again in her attempts after the M/C and, unless she is keeping it a secret still, it doesn't seem it worked again for her in the last 8 months. **********************
This seems a little on the expensive side to me for what it is, but I'm not sure all it entails. I did a little research after my friend told me about the Diva Cup. I was concerned it may have something on it that would actually kill the sperm. I didn't find any info that it would kill the sperm. However, some websites said the cup is too deep to really have a large affect. There is a different item I cam across called the Instead cup that actually recommends DH ejaculate into the cup and then you place it up there. The cup is supposed to be shallower and able to keep the sperm up near the tip. I haven't tried either of them, but just wanted to pass on what I've heard and found. So, if you're thinking about it, I would also recommend researching Instead cups as it may be a comparable product. I can't remember the price...

I'm not going to tell anyone what to use or not use, but I'll put my "review" here as it might be helpful:
We tried the Stork. It said it was good for low motility, and that is our problem. We were getting desperate after 12+ months and H wanted to try it before going to an RE. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us. The "condom" is very small and very thick material, so we couldn't even use that part. He deposited in the cup and then used the contraption to put the cup in place. That's really all it is - a soft cup and a fancy contraption to put it in. I'll add that we told our RE this and he said that unfortunately with motility issues, these things won't work due to the poor sperm holding up the good ones, and that is why they cleanse the sample before IUI.
Hmm, thanks for the replies ladies. I'm still thinking about trying it as I won't be able to do an IUI until after Christmas. (Work schedule)
DH sperm was all good, except that it's on the cusp of being low volume at barely 2ml. That's why I'm thinking it might be worth a shot. Because while I can't go in for IUI yet, I'd be able to try Stork at home, even if it's just a soft cup to put the soldiers where they need to be.
