Baby has been grumpy and super drooly and low and behold there are two little teeth poking out of his bottom gums. It's kinda hard to see but I was super surprised I feel like it's early for him!
Get ready for a wild ride. My son was a rapid teether. I felt like I always was saying, "he's got a tooth coming in." It takes some time. They go up and down breaking the tissue slowly until they pop out. Offer LO something safe to put in his mouth. The counter pressure helps with the pain. My DS hated the teething rings, wash cloths etc, but loved the foam bath time letters and numbers. It was firm enough for counter pressure, but soft enough for his gums. Good luck.
One of my girls had her teeth swelling into a big bump and was so grumpy for a week! They went back down and she's back to her happy self! Tylenol and Advil
My 14 week baby is teething too, I think since around 2 months now that I know that's what's been going on with her. She's been so grumpy the past two weeks especially that we took her to the doctor twice to figure out what's going on. And at her 2 month appointment the doctor looked at her gums and said she wasn't teething (even though my mommy instincts told me that the two white lines I could see through her gums even at that time were teeth and explained her drooling and hand chewing but I ignored that instinct since the doc dismissed the possibility..insert eyeroll..) Anyway, it took 3 weeks, 3 appointments, 3 doctors and countless nurses before we saw someone that finally noticed that she did in fact have teeth coming in. Poor baby...she's now getting all the love, teething toys and orajel she can get to make up for these past few weeks...
It's exciting I almost kinda rubbed it in my pediatricians face. With a little I told you. And idk. I went ahead and started my boogers on stage 1 baby foods an out 2 weeks ago
I love little toothy smiles! Then they grow up and start loosing them. Just as cute! DD didn't have a problem teething. She would wake up and BAM new teeth. I have a feeling this guy won't be so easy. They seem to be opposite on everything. Good luck!
