Anybody feel like they will never feel good again???

I have never felt this gross in my other pregnancies. The nausea is just too much to handle. And I am so tired and constantly yawning! I'm trying to take care of my other kids but any moving just makes it worst. I was taking diclegis but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Everyday seems worst than the one before and I can't even remember when I felt good. I'm just feeling super discouraged and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Anybody feeling better yet?

  • I'm with you there this pregnancy! My first two no symptoms at all. My last one sick the first 12 weeks but this one oh my it's never ending. I don't think I have eaten in a week bc nothing stays down. Today was the first day I have kept crackers and water down. I am praying that I only have a little bit as 4 more weeks till out of first trimester!

  • I definitely was feeling this way, and I felt so bad for so long that I was getting really down. This pregnancy has been a lot worse tha when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Week 9 was the WORST for me. I'm 10w1d now, and in the last couple of days have been a little better. Hang in there, mama! I
Hope it gets better for you soon.
  • I constantly have to remind myself that when the baby gets here I will not be nauseated 24/7 (I hope...) because I cannot imagine handling an infant with how I feel now... 99% sure we're one and done.

  • My nausea has been awful. And it started two weeks sooner this pregnancy than it did with DS! Maybe it won't last as long this time though....one can hope.
  • Props for you having to deal with this AND take care of children at the same time! This is my first pregnancy and I've felt pretty horrific. Just drained and sick all the time, its hard to function! I keep thinking "How on earth am I going to do this for a second time when I have a kid to take care of!" I know its a little crazy to be thinking about my second child when I don't even have a first yet, but as somebody who always wanted lots of kids, I'm suddenly thinking that might be near impossible!
  • Hang in there! I hope you feel better and can catch a break soon.

  • I'm not very nauseous but I'm so bloated-feeling all the time, and my abdomen has a persistent low-grade ache. It's really unpleasant and not the most reassuring feeling in the world, either. Plus I'm exhausted and could sleep at the drop of a hat. Ugh.

  • Yes we had a beach trip scheduled about a year ago and I am here now and feel so awful. I am feeling so horrible every day of it. It is sad because this might be our last trip here ever due to the property we usually vacation at being sold. I want to have more fun here and enjoy it but I am struggling.
  • I was right there with you. I've been bitching and moaning for weeks because I've had to throw up at least twice a day for the last 3 weeks.... But today the sun came out. I was able to keep down breakfast, lunch, and so far dinner. I still feel a little seasick at times but that's so much easier to cope with versus yacking. So hang in there mama. It'll get better!

  • That's me exactly!  No nausea, just pain like at the end of a stomach flu.

  • Ugh!  Yes!  My son has been watching a lot more TV than usual lately because I. Just. Can't.  I haven't been vomiting too much (thankfully) but feel queasy and exhausted all day long.  I'm getting nothing done at work and can barely muster the energy to cook dinner in the evenings.  Can't wait for this part to be over!

  • I feel the same way as a lot of you.  I tell myself constantly "this too shall pass", and think of my IRL friends who have had morning sickness and remind myself that it went away for them.  I find myself wanting time to speed up so I would get to 2nd tri already.  Hope everyone feels better soon!

  • *raises hand for nausea* Mine comes in waves. Fortunately I have not had to get sick, but when the waves come on, I feel like they will never go away. I'm only at around 7 weeks and feel like there is so much longer to go until this goes away. Even though the other symptoms will probably stick around (sore breasts, off-and-on constipation/TOO easy to go, etc.) as long as the nausea and upset tummy goes away I can handle it.

Does anybody else wake up actually feeling fine but then start to feel the worst in the afternoon? Mine usually peaks right around 2-3.
  • I think I'm going crazy because my morning sickness is just comical now. I'm so hungry, but nothing sounds good. I wish my brain and stomach could get on the same page.
  • 8-9 weeks was absolutely hellish! But, it was like a switch was flipped when we turned the corner into 10 weeks. Don't get me wrong, I still feel nauseated from time to time and have thrown up a few times, but nothing like before. Also on diclegis (unisom/b6), but honestly, I think it was more just getting over the HCG spike in the first 8 weeks that made the difference. It will get better!

  • I haven't felt much as far as nausea yet (6w2d), but if this diarrhea continues I might just lose my mind. As a teacher, I can't just leave and run to the bathroom... I would rather be vomiting.....then at least if it happens in the classroom garbage, I can just tell my students I'm sick... Idk I'm so aggravated that I had to leave early today.
  • @TaylorKang I totally hit a wall around 2:00 or 2:30 every day! I'm the most sleepy then and seem to be more likely to feel queasy then. I try to have productive mornings because I'm not worth much in the afternoon :(

  • @beff12 - yeah I hate this! I tend to get better after 4 and stay pretty decent for the rest of the night...although it almost always feels like I just have a minor flu...consistently... :(

At least you can think about a second time. I told my hubby there may not be a second time because I couldn't possibly go through feeling like this again.

To all of you and all women before me, I have the utmost respect for you...being pregnant is gonna go down in my books as one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I better have an angel baby, that's all I'm saying!
  • This is exactly what I was telling my fiance yesterday. I had to take time off work because all I do is sleep and throw up. I feel terrible and, at least for now, there seems to be no end in sight. Truly miserable :-& :-& :-&
  • Yeah I'm right there with you with all the kids and feeling horrendous and beyond exhausted. I've been so sick that I can only eat 1 meal a day. This is my fourth and it's one of the most nauseating of all!
