HELP!! How to get breastfed baby to take bottle

Feeling down and like I'm doing something wrong. My baby girl is 2 months as of yesterday and she is doing great at breast feeding, but she is refusing a bottle. She took one from me the first time and from other people now all of a sudden she won't. Screams and gags and cries then I cry. I don't know what to do but I go back to work in few weeks. And I have tried two different types of bottles. Not sure why all of a sudden she won't take it anymore. Any suggestions?! Please help

Is there anyone else around who can give her the bottle while you physically leave the house?

You may also have to keep trying different bottles. My first had no interest in any fancy bottles, wouldn't take them. All the way until she was off the bottle she just used the plain silicone nipples and medela bottles that came with my pump.

I use nuk..

I don't feed Lo with bottle. I leave the room and husband does.. It might be you.. And sometimes babies just don't like them. Could be the nipple

This is completely unrelated...but @heath3er did you make the transition to fb? I just remember you being one of the ppl I enjoyed reading their posts on here and wondered if you were on fb now too?

I have tried leaving the room.
I just don't understand why she took the bottle from me a handful of other times and from other people and now she won't take it at all no matter who tries to feed her the bottle. Last time I gave her a bottle it was a week ago... She screams and cries and then I feel bad because I feel like I'm stressing her out and doing harm by making her cry so hard.

Practice makes perfect. I would just keep trying. As stressful as it may be. : (
My Dr said to give my LO a bottle at least once a day. Thankfully she does go back and forth with no problems. I use dr brown bottles and really like them. Have used them with both kiddos.

The LC that helped me learn to BF in the hospital put a few drops of this stuff (sugar water? Something in a purple capsel) on my nipple to get her to latch. Maybe asking your LC if they have anything like that, that you could put on the bottles nipple?
