Fussy LO! Advice?

Hi mama's,

My 3 wo has just recently been waking up at her usual time to feed (about every 2-3 hours) but she's refusing the breast and just cries! It doesn't happen every time, I try multiple times to give her the boob but she fights it. All I can do is soothe her and she eventually just falls back asleep again. Any other moms experience this? I'm wondering if she's waking up from gas?

She's gained almost 2lbs since birth so I'm not too worried that she's not eating until 4-5 hours apart.

    Sounds like gas, try gas drops. They've worked wonders for us. Could also be reflux?

    My LO was like that sometimes. Try skin to skin for breastfeeding. And I use Mylicon drops for gas. Also if you have used a bottle baby may prefer the faster flow so if you want to keep breastfeeding try not to use bottles for a while. That was our problem but I personally prefer to pump and bottle feed.
