Want to take a test everyday!

First time pregnant and super excited but I still don't 100% believe it. We really haven't been trying to long (1.5 months) and I took 2 tests on Friday and my EDD is June 10th. My tests were different times of the day and both were super distinct lines. My breasts hurt and I'm overly emotional at times (which are normal PMS symptoms). My cycle hasn't been consistent since I got my first period, so I think I missed my period. I want to take a test everyday, but I promised my hubby that I will wait until this Friday. It's so hard to wait. I just feel normal and don't feel pregnant. I know it's still early on, and I could get more symptoms later on. Is anyone else paranoid like me? Or am I just a crazy person?

I have lots of cheap sticks and plan on peeing on them until my line gets darker. However, I also admit to being BSC about such things, so I'm probably not a good person to compare yourself to.

Oh, I freely admit to being BSC in this department. I'm now over a week out from my first BFP and my period is a week overdue (I'm very regular)... BUT I'm still pee'ing on sticks daily. I have a bunch of Wondfos so I'm justifying my insanity by saying they'd just get tossed if I don't use them up. Until I see a doctor I find it very gratifying to confirm my pregnancy for myself every morning (and to see that line getting darker too - I save them all and line them up in order hahaha).

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I don't think my lines could get any darker. Both on my tests looked this way. I just think that I won't believe I'm pregnant until I hear the heartbeat.

That looks pretty positive to me @KellyBelly27 ! The FRERs are really sensitive. I only took one of those (at 13dpo) and it was also pretty dark.

I have been peeing on sticks for 2 weeks. I don't plan on stopping until all my wondfo's are gone!

Maybe I should start pee'ing on all the leftover OPKs I have too... just for kicks!

Totally admit that I POAS today for some reason....and it was not darker than my bfp stick over a week ago. My first bfp was quite dark though, but not as dark as the control. I kinda panicked that it's not darker. But Dr. Google assured me it is totally fine. What do you girls think?

HPTs aren't quantitative, and also are affected by urine concentration, so it shouldn't be at all concerning if the line doesn't get darker (though it's cool if it does!). My Wondfos are getting darker but the FRER didn't change b/w 3w5d and 4w6d. Dr. Google is right

Now that you mention it my wondfos actually got consistently darker while my frer are hit or miss (11dpo and 12dpo same color, 13 dpo darker). I also found myself googling if that was normal and consensus seems to be that dye can vary from test to test... and yeah I've literally peed on 12 test so far so

I'm 5w6d and POAS 2 days ago because I'm cool like that. I have all those Wondfos so it's tempting especially when my boobs stop hurting or I'm having one of those paranoid moments. I even removed them from the bathroom but no such luck, I still pee on them and probably will until they're gone/we hear a heartbeat.

I think I may the odd one out here lol I made myself wait until 14DPO to POAS and the line is unmistakable on a FRER.
I only took one, and I haven't peed on any other sticks since then.

A line just doesn't disappear right? And it's probably pretty rare to get a false positive

It still hasn't sunk in yet, and sometimes I feel like I should have peed on more just to make sure.

@kattyleigh I had the same thing happen. Tested midday on Sunday and got my positive. Then tested yesterday morning again, still positive immediately, but it seems lighter. Hence I went but target brand sticks to check every couple of days until my appointment.

. Probably will POAS again this weekend.

@mrsschmity I only POAS once too at 14 DPO. Then I got paranoid two days later and did it again. Yup, still there.

. When a symptom stops, I freak out. Where did you go sore boobs?!?! Come back!!! Oh wait, there you are. :-|

@KOR121 it is still surreal to think about. I'm tempted to take another test, but at the same time I think I'll refrain lol I haven't had much for symptoms so far...just mild nausea here and there and extremely tired. No sore boobs yet! Just full and heavy. I called my doctor this morning and they are having me come in this afternoon for a confirmation pregnancy test, which I'm assuming is fairly normal.

@KOR121 I don't think they'll do anything else other than confirm the pregnancy...sounds like this is just the first step before the actual first appointment? Maybe getting confirmation from the doctor will ease my mind a bit about only peeing on one stick lol

So I bought my sticks at a discount place they were digitalis and super cheap. I thought for sure they were broken when they both said pregnant so I want to the trusty dollar tree and got one there. My line was darker than the control line. Pee on all the things!

I POAS a lot....my first line was such a squinter that I wanted to see the line get darker. Since the Wondfos are like 0.30 each I don't feel that bad about using like 10 of them.

I ordered the wondfo OPKs and HPTs and they don't expire until late 2017. If we keep the same spacing/timing for baby 4, then I would get use out of them. My SIL is trying soon, so I may just offer her the OPKs and most HPTs. I like to have some pregnancy tests on hand.

In the same boat... and I ALWAYS feel great when the test line shows up dark dark dark within a minute, way before the control line has even had a chance to come through... it always gives me a feeling of, okay still pregnant, still okay. lol

The first test I took was digital and when the battery died, it was ESSENTIAL to quickly obtain further evidence of conception that I could look at any time. Hence, I went out and got a 3 pack of generic blue line tests. The first one I took immediately read positive, but then the next day the line was practically non-existent, which freaked me out big time (even though it was way past the "read-by" time). I took another one, positive, but it also started to fade by the next day. I took the last one, which had a super dark positive and light control line, and that has stayed nice and dark. But of course, Imma need to get some more tests to ease my mind. I think I heard the blue line tests can be weird.

I've peed on one stick... but I also don't have anymore and I never think about buying more when I'm out...if I had Wondofs I would totally POAS every day!

I took another one even though I knew I shouldn't. It wasn't as dark as the ones before, so it freaked me out. I read online that that's fine if it wasn't as dark as the times before, a positive sign is a positive sign. I think it's because I have been drinking lots of water that day. The article says if you have been drinking liquids within 3-4 hours before, it could delute hCG and make the line fainter. It suggested that don't keep taking tests unless you have miscarriage signs, because things like fainter lines can cause unnecessary worry. So I'm going to try not to take more, but my first doctors appointment is not until Nov 6th!

I'm with @sorarose on this one (and not just because she has an awesome username). I took a TON of tests -- probably twenty or so. XD I finally stopped once the test lines were stealing colour from the control lines.

I just picked up a few tests from Dollar Tree--just a buck each and they are the pink line ones. Reassuring to get that nice, dark test line.

I have been POAS every other day for awhile now. I will probably just keep going until my ultrasound on the 26th, which is so far away.
