Knotty Hair

Has anyone else had their hair get super knotty? Even after using conditioner my hair starts to get matted.

Does this mean boy/girl?

    In my professional opinion as a hairstylist your problem indicates your need for a haircut. Split ends make your hair knotted. Hormones can change the hair's texture but if you've only been pregnant for a couple of months then the only texture that could be different thus far would be the first couple of inches starting from your roots.

    Definitely sounds like you are having a girl.  This is a classic "stealing the mother's beauty" situation.  Congrats!

    ^^^ This. I've noticed my hair gets knotted more on my right side, like A TON more and that is mainly where our little girl sits. Our boy sits on my left side more often and that side is way more manageable.

    I don't understand this logic at all. I'm really confused. Can you please explain how knotted hair = boy or girl? You can have hair texture changes in pregnancy, but that usually doesn't occur until 2nd or 3rd trimester anyway.

    First tri is on fire today! =))

    OP, I also have knotted hair and I'm having a girl. I'm 98% sure you're having a girl too! You might want to test your pee with baking soda to be sure though.

    My hair is knotty, too, lately.  As others said, it's not a symptom of pregnancy.  However, it could likely be due to your sleep quality.  I know I'm not sleeping well.  I toss and turn all night and have some night sweats, so I wake up with ratty, greasy hair.  

    This, of course, has nothing to do with the sex of your baby.
