Baby's heart rate

Hi May 2016 soon-to-be-mommies! I had a little scare Sunday night and went to the ER. I was spotting a little, but it turned out to be spotting from implantation. Anywho, I got a surprise ultrasound while I was there and everything looks good with the my little peanut except it's heart rate was low :-/ 78 to be exact the OB said. She didn't seem concerned though and assured me that it would be okay since I'm still early. The u/s measured me at 6 weeks. I thought I was at 7. Has anyone else experienced a low heart rate? I have to go back next Monday for another u/s in hopes that the baby's heart rate has gone up. Any insight would be helpful :)

    If your doc isn't concerned I wouldn't be either.

    I was told by ER that the fetal heart rate was 65. When I followed up with ultrasound 5 days later, the heart rate was 138 (at 6w4d) and my obgyn wasn't concerned at all.
    I know every case is different, but here is one positive story to hopefully give you a little sense of peace while you wait.
