When I pump, I sometimes get drastically different amounts of milk from each breast whether I fed her right before I pumped or not. Is this happening to anyone else? Do I just need to pump the one side more?
Im kinda in the same boat.I always get at least 2+ ounces from my left side and barely 1.5 from my right. However, I can get equal amounts if I feed him on my left side and pump my right at the same time -but only first thing in the morning! Hope this helps!
I get anywhere from 3-4 oz on the right and 0.5-1 oz on the left. It was exactly the same last time around breastfeeding. I've even hooked up the tubing backwards and switched bottle set-ups in the middle. I don't know why this is...
Everyone has a "stud and a dud" it's completely normal! And time of day effects production too. Most milk is made from 1-5 am. So if LO sleeps during that time and you need to build up your freezer stock, it's a good time to pump!
Same here. I've read that it's completely normal. I do try to switch the tubing to see if I can even if out though but I think it's just going to sabotage the breast that is producing more.
You can also try breast comoressions on the lesser producing breast.
My right boob is always bigger and fuller. I haven't really pumped much this time but with my last baby it always produced more too. Guess that's my stud!
This happens with me too. DH calls my one the "appetizer boob" and the one which produced drastically more my "entree boob" ha huge differences every time!

This!!! I only pump between 1 and 6am and have over 60oz in the freezer already. LO is 3 weeks old and I waited a week to start pumping.
Re: Pumping question... Is it just me?

I love this! Never heard of it before, but I also have one that produces more and did with dd1 as well
