Feeding every 45 min

3 week old has now switched to feeding every 45 min around the clock. It's unreal. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse (she was feeding every 90 min on the dot)... By the time I feed her, change her, then burp her, it's almost time to start again. My nipples are raw. This has to be just a growth spurt right? This can't last for more than 2 or 3 days right? I feel like I'm mentally breaking.

    Exact same think happening to me!! Wow! My daughter will be 3 weeks on Thursday and I've noticed since Sunday she has been eating constantly!!! Around the clock. Today she has been nursing for an hour or more at a time and has only had two 30 min naps. I'm hoping it won't be the same tonight I would think she has to be exhausted, I know I am! I was wondering the same thing thank you for posting this!!

    I've been there. It's just a growth spurt and won't last longer than a few days. Treat yourself to some take out and know how much your LO appreciates you!

    Sounds like the second growth spurt, should stop soon and the next isn't til 6 weeks!

    Ah! So that is why my little man is so fussy and isn't sleeping as well. I am sure the next few days will be interesting. I was wondering if it was time for a growth spurt.

    Could you try to pump and bottle feed to see how much lil one is taking in? Best of luck
