Leaps help

I have the wonder weeks app and have always gone by my baby's birthdate. Just recently read on here that it's best to use the estimated due date instead... Only thing is, I got told 2 different dates when I was still pregnant. So on the app, I have her birthdate which tells me she still has 15 days to go till end of leap 4. One of her EDD says 13 days and the other one days 7 days.

Ahh! Which date is best to go with?!
She was born 6th of June but was told the EDD was 29th May then later told 4th June. So confused!

Re: Leaps help

  • I see two options:

    1. Use the first EDD you were given, since those are often the most accurate
    2. Register the three dates as three different babies on the app, and see which fits your LO best, as the leap happens

Also, the leaps aren't 100% accurate down to specific date - the leap we are in right now has a few weeks range for start time. So if you know the signs of a leap (fussiness, clingyness, etc), then you will know the leap is happening, anyway.

Hope this helps. Good luck with those Leaps, they can certainly throw things out of whack!

  • I think option #2 above is probably your best bet. I did that with my LO and his leap app. One is his EDD and the other is his actual birth date

  • ^what she said.  I have two dates on my app, so I can track his due date and his actual date of birth (2 weeks early).  Sometimes he is more in line with his due date and others he is on track with his birth date, so it's nice to have both.  I downloaded the full Wonder Weeks book on my iPad today and started reading it...there's so much more information than the app provides!  I am excited to sit down and really read it!

  • Thanks, ladies!

Think I might have a look into the book as well then :)
