Seriously unless it is a life or death situation or compromises the safety and well being of the baby was there any need to nit pick!? Yes Gender and Sex are not the same thing but the OP was purely sharing her excitement! nothing more, nothing less.

Congratulations OP!

Perhaps you could skip over the posts you don't like. Just a thought. God forbid anyone on here was obnoxious...
Kind of hard to skip over the posts you don't like if every Jane, Sue and Sally created their own post. All of the posts you'd want to see would be pushed off of the first page.
I guess to express my disdain for an AW drive by post. @fwtx5815 beat me to it but we can all imagine what it'd be like if every Jane Preggers did this. Though at least now we know that OP knows what type of things she can register for for her shower.

It was one post. All of the other super exciting posts are still on the first page. You guys are silly.

And if there isn't a little bit of pushback against the "one post," how many do you expect there would be? I imagine it would be a free for all of AW posts. Maybe that's a little pessimistic on my end, but c'est la vie.
You won't know 100% that the gender of your child is male until he is older in life.....you know that the sex of your child is boy. Congrats!
Gender and sex are not the same.
Re: Gender of baby
