Those of you who have already had a little one, when did you start showing on your 2nd, 4th, 5th, etc pregnancy? I'm thinking I've been gaining a tad too much weight here lately lol! It can't be possible to show after 6 weeks already...... right??
I second that it is bloat...I'm feeling it too (especially after not snacking and eating a larger meal). This is my first so I have no idea when I'll show but I'm short (5'5" on a good day) with a short torso if that makes a difference.
@mkemommy and @KOR121 I'm 5'6 and have a short torso as well...I'll be curious to see what happens with my body. I've heard women with short torsos tend to show more early on? Who knows.
Question for all of you ladies...does your husband's height have anything to do with the size of your bump? Like I said, I'm fairly short with a short torso....H is 6'3" on a bad day. I have a feeling I'm going to be a walking walrus by the end of this.
I've definitely got some bloat going on but it's probably not as noticeable to other people as it is to me. With my first I seriously didn't even look pregnant until 8 months so I'm curious to see how my body handles it this time around.

No. It has to do with your uterus and how big baby is and your body shape.

First pregnancy I had an of dial bump(though small) at 18 weeks, but I hid my pregnancy at work until I was about 28 weeks! Second babe I was in maternity pants at 10 weeks.

Got it. Very helpful, thanks! I still think I'll be a walking walrus by the end but I could care less if I'm a healthy walking walrus with a healthy lil walrus.
A lot of when you show has to do with how you carry. I have a tiny lady I work with who is 6 months and finally starting to show. Baby's size, even placenta placement can make a huge difference.
I know that before getting pregnant I'd get so bloated after meals that I would unbutton my pants and if I was wearing a tight shirt people would ask when I was due.... I think because I'm small and normally have a flat tummy that the second I get a little bloat my belly stuck straight out and looks like a bump. Of course I don't mind this now cause I'm actually pregnant and don't mind looking it.

I'm already using a rubber band to help my pants out. This bloat is unreal. I'm so used to it going away in 24hours after a fatty meal!

Ugh right?! Mine is ok when I first wake up but as soon as I eat a couple crackers... Boom or should I say BLUMP!!!
I'm almost 5'6 with a very long torso, and I think that kept me not looking too large most of my pregnancy. However, I have a pic of myself at Week 14 with a tiny bump, and I remember rocking jeans with an elastic waist band around 12 weeks. (or maybe earlier, I can't remember). The blump was intense.
I barely showed by 20 weeks last time. DD was all shoved in my pelvis and rib cage. I remember being a month out and people assuming I had ages to go. I have no idea how this one will turn out...though I'm excited for maternity pants - so comfy

Right? I don't understand why pants are even created with buttons and zippers.
I'm 5' 10" but I feel like I showed fairly early considering my height (can't remember when I started showing exactly, but I know I was shopping for maternity clothes by the end of 1st tri) I was unbelievably huge by the end, but I attribute that to DD presenting breech. She was seriously sitting upright in there, like my pelvis was a frickin bean bag chair. Please God don't let that happen again, the lightning crotch was unreal.
Definitely sporting the blump already. I started showing around 14 weeks with DS. I think I notice the blump more than people around me who don't know. They probably think I just ate too much
I'm 5'3, and my bump popped out overnight around 15 weeks with my first. I was the definition of "walking walrus" by the time I gave birth! My husband is 6'4", and our daughter was 22 1/4 inches - so she for sure got daddy's height. I'm guessing it'll be the same thing this go around!
I''m rockin a blump right now. With my first I gained a lot of weight fast, and was very bloated so I went into maternity pants around 8 or 9 weeks, but didn't really show until closer to 16. I started showing around 16 weeks with DS2 also.

@mkemommy I'm 5'4 on a good day and and extremely short torso as well. This is going to be interesting to see how my body handles a bump.

Once again, I'm in the same boat as you. DH Is 6'4.
Regardless of size, I'll be happy with healthy baby. But it still kind of freaks me out of having a big baby!
I am feeling bloated already! Hate the blump

Oh, and count me in on the bloat. Holy. Crap.
