Subchorionic hematoma

I just had my 6 wk ultrasound, everything looked good except I have a small sub chorionic hematoma, or blood clot. Doc said it was very common and usually goes away within a few weeks, that it is very unlikely to cause a miscarriage. Has anyone else experienced this? I am a little worried...

    There have been many posts on this and subchrionic hemorrhage (if the hematoma bleeds). If you use the search function, you'll find many stories of moms who have this currently or have in the past. 

    Try not to worry. You may experience some bleeding with it (I did with my son), but as your doctor said, it's unlikely to harm the pregnancy.
