4th degree tears still no clearance

So, I'm 9 weeks PP and I get my IUD this Friday. I'm hoping that my doctor will FINALLY give me the go ahead for intercourse. When/if that happens, I'm nervous about actual doing that. Did any of you ladies have 4th degree? Have you had intercourse yet? Or anyone had this happen previously? Did it hurt? How was your experience with the whole go around of fourth degree tears? Tell me I'm not alone in this! Lol

    Not a 4th degree but a 2nd with foreceps delivery and a cracked tailbone.. I was super nervous and didnt have sex until 11 weeks pp.. the deed itself didnt hurt at all and we didnt use lube. I had mild discomfort the next day, more of an awareness of the scar then pain.... good luck!

    4th degree here. I was so nervous but had zero pain. Invest in some lube and be overly generous with it the first time. Good luck!

    I had a 4th degree internal with my first. Tore all the way up to my cervix. I had and IUD and It came out. I guess it wasn't healed all the way? I'm not sure what happened. But if something seems weird with the IUD don't hesitate to call you doctor.

    Update: I got the clearance and everything seems to be 100% and looking good. So, we tried, and it wasn't bad! Yay!
    I had tore 2nd degree and then got an episiotomy and that made it 4th degree tears and he was vacuumed. So it was a really rough recovery, but I'm glad to be back at it. Thanks for all the advice, I think I for sure used a combo of it all.

    I had a second degree tear and the top stitch came out early so it didn't heal properly. First time was super painful!! I felt like my skin was going to rip open. Not looking forward to a second time.
