Hey everyone; my husband and I are team green and trying to figure names for both sexes. We think we're set on Parker Elizabeth for a girl but I wanted to get some feedback. Thanks!
I usually see it on boys, but know one little girl with that name... Although parents wanted a boy, so?? That's what I usually assume when I see a girl with boy names, or someone hoping to be different.
I don't like it at all. I don't understand the trend of naming little girls traditionally masculine names. I mean, would you consider Olivia or Grace for a son?
I like the name a lot for a girl. My sister had a daughter 7 years ago and named her Parker. I was a huge support of the name. However, she is in second grade and she is beautiful, but has a more stalky build and has really dark hair, including dark hair on her legs. She constantly cries because the kids tease her and say she was suppose to be a boy and that's why her name is Parker. She asks us to call her PJ now (which I think is a far worse name), but she thinks it's more girly. Anyway, not that you can protect your kids from everything, but it is a thought i know my sister wished she considered.
