I get an occasional cry or whimper at night which sometimes sends me crib side only to still find her sleeping. No full on continuous cry though. Have you tried different swaddles? Or I think they are called sleep sacks. .. maybe ask his pedi at next appt?
Mine just started this during naps in the middle of the day (LO is 8 weeks). Eyes don't open, but her cries seem almost like scared cries. It's similar to her pain cry, but not quite the intensity. I was wondering if it wasn't possibly a bad dream? Or that she can't smell/sense me close enough? I dunno. Curious to hear others' input on this.
Our LO cries and squirms several times overnight while sleeping. Dr said it sounded like gas, and as long as she stays asleep to let it be
This. She doesn't full out cry though. And I know it's just gas because a couple of times I was standing next to her and as soon as she passed gas she stopped.
My 2 year old went through this over the summer. I'd wake up to him crying, like REALLY crying. I'd go running in to give him his oxidizer and he'd be sound asleep with his eyes closed.
Mine laughs in his sleep on occasion. It's kind of creepy. He doesn't laugh when he's awake though. I think it's just a matter of everything getting connected in their brains.
Re: Anyone else's baby still cry in their sleep?
It might be gas, he's had lots of constipation issues, but I swear it sounds like the cries he makes when he wakes up!
