Guess I'm going to the hospital

Basically I was walking (waddling) and I started to feel pressure in my pelvic area that got worse and worse until every step got so painful that I just kinda slowly fell on my butt. I called L&D and they said to take tylenol and lay down. And said there was no reason to come in. My husband however, is leaving work as we speak and insisting on taking me to get looked at right away. I tried to tell him it's okay, the nurse said not to come in. But he doesn't care. So I guess I'm making my first useless trip to the hospital.

    It's normal to have pelvic pain, sometimes it almost feels like your cervix is being stretched the pressure of the baby and it can legit hurt. But it seems strange that it made you fall. If you're in that much pain, it doesn't hurt to get checked out. Try not to stress about it though. Good luck!

    Turns out baby's head is super low. They found some of his blood in my blood work and kept me over night for observation, but he's okay. And unfortunately for my impatient husband, it wasn't a reason to induce at 37 weeks.
