I think I want a Tula, but the whole process confuses me! I joined a local group on Facebook and they have abbreviations for EVERYTHING and I don't understand why Tulas are $150 from the site but people sell them for crazy high amounts in the buy sell trade pages. The ladies in the group seem very catty so u haven't asked there. Any insight?? Any Tula lovers or haters?

Alright here's the low-down on Tulas. The ones that sell for absolutely insane prices are because of the pattern. There are people that literally search and search for a specific fabric on their Tula. I am not one of those people

I ordered mine off the website and it's been fine. I got the Grey chevron one. People on those buy sell trade sites are super catty.

Personally, I didn't like the Tula when I tried it. You need an infant insert for newborn, and you can't cross the straps across your back. My favourites were chimparoo trek (which I have and love) and Lenny lamb. If you haven't tried others yet, you might love one that's cheaper. Boba is great and it fits from newborn and comes with foot straps to support a toddler too.

I did a ton of research on carriers and decided on a Tula. I have used it a few times already and my son usually likes it unless he's super fussy. We've only used it around the house as we haven't had a need for it out and about yet. I do love it but agree the only reason the buy sell trade sites go for so much is the pattern. The cool thing too is they hold their value so if you take care of it you should be able to re sell it. We have the newborn insert borrowing it from a friend. It's pretty easy to use although I will be glad when he fits in it without the insert
