Opposite symptoms - food sensitivities?

I'm 27 weeks and it seems like everything i read, says this point in the pregnancy is when people may experience constipation. However, I'm having the opposite problem. I will get acid/heartburn problems while sleeping (which seems normal from what I've read) and then I'll have the worst stomach pains followed by diarrhea. The pain is bad enough to wake me up at night and has happened 3 out of 5 or 6 nights now. Has anyone else experienced this during pregnancy? I've tried taking Tums before bed, which helps a little, but I'm worried about getting dehydrated. I'm not sure if it is something in my diet and if anyone else has developed food sensitivities during pregnancy. If it continues I'll call my doctor, but I don't want overreact if it's just a common symptom either.

  • I get it occasionally. Ask your doc for a script. The last time I had it nothing helped. Tums. Sprite. Crackers. Toast. Pancakes. Nothing. Joys of pregnancy. :)
