    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    Cycle status: had my very emotional exit appointment with my RE this morning. It was hard to say good bye to someone I've spent so much time with over the past 2 years. This door is closed, I'm praying another one will open. Adoption process is sloooow...the agency has our paperwork but no call yet for our intake interview :(

    IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN

    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    Cycle status: CD17 and my first IUI this morning. Sore as hell from that awful speculum but hoping it will all be worth it! And the 2ww begins...

    I am in a holding period right now.  This cycle (IUI #3) was a bust..no follicles were growing and all signs pointed to me not ovulating at all this month. I am on provera to help bring on a period.  I have taken 3 of 7 pills and then AF should show 2-7 days after I stop them.  In the meantime I am starting acupuncture today and I am taking DHEA as well as my prenatal as recommended by my RE.  However the past few nights I've been waking up with night sweats and am really concerned as to why that is happening. I have DOR so I know early menopause is in my future but i am only 32 (almost 33) and it shouldn't be this early. That said I know I still have follicles every month so I assume even if it is signs of menopause I am not out until I have no follicles at all.  I knew we should have started trying for #2 sooner but we had no issues with #1 and DH was getting his MBA and didn't want to think about a second until he was done.  Who knew we would have all these issues.  

    QOTW:  I'm in the middle..I like some things pumpkin but not everything. I used to think I hated it until a few years ago when I tried it again and was like, this is good!

    @ErikaMG I am starting the 2ww with you too. 
    I had my FET today. All those crazy emotions came back that I had 2 years ago when we did our last round of IVF. I had so much anxiety last night but after seeing the tiny embryo,that soon went away. They said it all went well; so we will keep FX. 
    @ellebelle2384 FX for you too!

    I had my first pumpkin spice latte last week and loved it. I guess the "spice" part always scared me off but I should have been enjoying this years ago! Trends usually put me off but I guess I will be jumping on this bandwagon

    Cycle status: I just placed my order today for my Ivf meds. I start stims on day 2 if my cycle as soon as AF decides to arrive. I just finished up 5 months of the lupron depot shot so I'm a little worried it's going to takes it time to arrive. I've been feeling pretty crampy & I've had a headache I can't get rid of so fx she comes soon.

    Cycle Status:I just got approved by the Ethics Committee to try IVF one last time.  I was also accepted in a Natural IVF study where the research grant covers all expenses, but the success rate is less than 10%.  My RE told me I should try IVF the one last time first.  I am going to take his advice and go for it... I am out of pocket this time, but I feel like I want to give it my all.  I am going to take off this month and next month though-- we had a vacation planned for October and I want to give my family a chance to relax.  We will try on our own for now and I will start the IVF again (if necessary) when I come back from vacation.  My RE agreed that a little break would probably be good for us.

    QOTW- I like pumpkin muffins and breads, but none of the other stuff.  I am more of a chocolate girl.  I do find it amusing how there is pumpkin spice EVERYTHING.  I like decorating pumpkins and placing them on my porch!

    I'm glad you got approved for the natural IVF study @GK2009.  Hope you don't need it though and the next couple months are good to you!

    I just posted an update about my failed IVF cycle, so that it is here for other people in the future with searching for this rare thing.  Basically my eggs have some rare disorder called "smooth endoplasmic reticulum aggregates" (SERa) and about 68% of them are affected.  The one that did fertilize and that we froze on day 1 wasn't affected.  We are hoping that upping the meds for IVF #2 and reducing stimming time to around 9 days from 11 will help as apparently duration of stim time was related to this.  Even with IUI cycles with my first, I had to do lots of stimming and was ALWAYS a late ovulator and this why I probably had so much trouble even with lots of eggs. Even the healthy eggs of these SERa+ cycles can be affected and less likely to be successful. It is so rare that my doctor has only seen one other case ever. Anyhow, hoping for different results with IVF #2, or at least a greater percentage of normal eggs.  You can use these affected eggs too, but some studies think they have a higher risk of malformation, but my RE is open to it if we don't get any non affected eggs to grow. 

    QOTW:  I could take it or leave PS.  I had one PSL  in the past couple years probably.  I am not even a huge fan of pumpkin pie. :)

    IVF #1 9/15 Antagonist- 19 R 1F (Frozen day 1 @ 2PN stage) Diagnosed with SER aggregates in 13/19 eggs after failed fertilization
    IVF #2 11/15 Antagonist w/ICSI  (Higher stims & Letrosole added last minute on stim day 7)- 39R, 24M (20/24 SER free), 15F (14/15 SER free & all frozen @ 2PN stage) 
    FET#1 Cultured all 16- 2pn embryos to day 5- transferred 1 good hatching blast and 1 early blast on 1/28- None to freeze - beta 2/5

    @Rachlee2010 Did you read the side effects of Provera. I used to get mega hot flashes on it. Your night sweats are likely related to your meds.

    Status (since I won't remember to post tomorrow) holding. Waiting. Wishing. I am currently dodging calls from the specialist my RE wants me to see for the Ashermans. I am just not ready to have 2 surgeries a month to maybe still not have the scar tissue removed. I need some time off after 4 failed (what seems like successful) surgeries in 9 months. 

    QOTW: I like Pumpkin spices. I do not like the PSL from SBux.

    I didn't read through the side effects but was on it once before and it didn't happen so I wasn't sure if it was the provera but it probably was..has gotten much better and hasn't happened in a few days and I have been off the provera since Thursday now
