Anyone else on here still before their expected period? I just got a BFP today at 4 days before my period. I know I jumped the gun a little ... Now I'm terrified of a chemical pregnancy. Should I keep testing everyday or wait for few days?
@mksears27 I was about 4 days before my period was due and had a positive. If you have the ability to test everyday - go for it. It is peace of mind to see those tests darken.
But testing won't minimize the chance for a loss. I would just relax. And stay healthy. :-)
Congrats on your BFP. For now you are pregnant. And you can be happy.
I also tested well before my missed period. I was charting so I know I ovulated early this cycle so that made it even earlier. I felt really nervous for all 5 days until my expected period (which was due yesterday and didn't come!). I have taken a total of 9 tests!!!! But I knew it wasn't necessary. I had to miss the period before I could even bring myself to call a doctor. It just didn't feel real. But now it's starting to. Be patient with yourself Test or don't test - I don't think it makes a difference.

I tested 4 days before my missed period. It's definitely comforting to test everyday and see the line darken! I wound up testing again every other day instead of every day just because I didn't want to go buy more tests lol. Just do whatever it takes to ease your mind!
January Siggy Challenge: Why I don't shop at Walmart
I got my first squinter BFP 4 days before my missed period. Tested twice a day everyday thereafter and the lines got gradually darker and 2 days before my missed period is when I was able to turn 2 digitals positive. I did a Wondfo strip yesterday at 5w1d to see how dark it would come out and right away I saw the line. After 5 minutes it was nearly as dark as the control line.
The thought of miscarriage is never far from my mind and it terrifies me, but like pp said, I keep telling myself that today I am pregnant and I am trying my best to enjoy every second of that and continue to pray that it stays that way.
I tested 6 days (3w1d) before my period was due and got my BFP. I still had 2 more tests so I used those every couple of days. It is a worry but you just have to relax and try to do things to distract you from thinking about it. I am now 5w4d so I am out of the window of a CP but now there is the worry of a MC. We are mothers we are always going to worry.
Thanks ladies for your feedback! I have a cheap package of 20 tests from Amazon so I'll probably keep testing everyday. I'll wait until my expected period day to call the doctor. Looking forward to it feeling real!
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought chemical pregnancies usually occur in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy right around when AF is due. This chart is helpful that others posted here. CLICK LINK
Thank you, I didn't really know what a chemical pregnancy was. I just keep freaking out when I get cramps thinking something wrong is happening. AF never showed so that's good. I need to just relax lol. This is my first pregnancy and I'm being such a worry wort
hell it's almost been a week for me and I'm still peeing on all the things. I'm also not used to light tests. With my first 2 they lit up like a damn Christmas tree as soon as I peed on them. I also have a ton of Wondfo that are already a month expired. So might as well pee on them...
Mine was so dark as soon as I peed on it. I was so shocked I dropped it. Didn't really think I was. Just did it to check since I had spotted like a week earlier. I figured since AF wasn't due that it would be a squinter. I was still in shock when the doctor told me too lol
@stisnd6 and @sthomas1222 - I hear you. I peed on a stick today too since we were telling H's family. First time it was darker than the control line but at 5 weeks and 1 day I would hope so. It was still reassuring to see.
