45 year old TTC

So I'm 45 and never had children, didn't meet the right man in my 20s or 30s and eventually I have... very happy with new partner, he has a 19 year old D and last year we decided that I was too old and that we were happy as we were... About 2 mths ago OH announces at about midnight " I think we should try for a baby" I sat bolt upright wondering where This had come from.. He said I feel a bit selfish as you havnt had children and why don't we just give it a year and see what happens... So here we are.. If I listen to all the percentage rates we would stop trying now but we shall see..... Any other older ladies trying?

    There is a TTC over 35 years old board.

    Hi. 41 here working on baby #2. Are you going all natural or are you considering assisted reproduction at all?

    Either way, be sure you're taking your CoQ10! 
    Me: 41, DH 38, Diagnosis DOR
    Started TTC 12/2013
    First Trip to RE: 11/2014
    IVF Round 1: 2/2014 - BFP
    DD Born 11/9/2014
    TTC a Sibling Started 5/2015
    First IVF Round 8/15 - BFN
    Taking a break to go on vacation + enjoy the holidays before FET and/or another IVF round in 2016!

    Welcome! I'm not in your situation, but just wanted to share that my mom had me at 41 and my brother at 44, naturally. It's completely possible. Lots of luck to you on this journey!

    I'd like to share that my grandma gave birth at 46, which was a good thing because it was my mom she gave birth to!
    Good luck, it's probably a good idea to see a RE to help in the journey.
