Don't understand why people do things

So I sat down awhile ago and rented the movie hot pursuit (save the money) anyway, ten minutes into the movie a domestic dispute broke out at the neighbors (I live in a nice area so this is totally uncommon). My neighbor watches her great grandson frequently. At one point he lived there with his mom and dad. I knew they moved out but I guess they are no longer together. Anyway, long story short they both pulled in to pick up the baby who is about 1 1/2..I don't know what went on at first but after a few minutes the mother had the baby in the car and the dad was going around the car like a maniac kicking and punching it..he was even on the roof at one point. He also smashed the windshield ALL WHILE THE BABY WAS IN THE CAR!!!! Cops were called and after he tried getting physical with them they tackled him cuffed him and took him in. I believe he was drunk but nonetheless my heart is breaking for that poor little boy. Extra prayers for him tonight

    I'm also praying for that family but especially for that little boy. I cannot tell you how my hheart breaks every time I watch the news and seeing how babies, and young kids are living in homes where they might not feel safe or being maltreated. Unfortunately we live in a world where this is becoming more common but all we can do is pray for protection for those little boys, who are vulnerable and for our little ones. Things like this make me appreciate my family and my little one! Praying for them and for that boy, I'm know he'll grow up to be a great man one day! ;)

    Poor kid must have been terrified. So many parents don't deserve the privilege of having children.
