Anyone do or doing PGD?

We are going to be meeting with the fertility dr soon and just want to know what to expect. 
Our dr said to look into this with my background. 

Would you be able to tell me the steps so Im not so surprised and kind of know what to expect?

    I did PGS (similar but not exactly the same) due to recurrent pregnancy loss.  This site explains what it is and the steps involved pretty well: https://www.advancedfertility.com/preimplantation_genetic_diagnosis.htm  I would also add that you should be prepared for everything to take much longer than you think it will.  Everything is hurry up and wait in the world of IF but when you add in genetic testing on top of that it will make the process take longer than you would originally expect.  When is your appointment?

    IVF #1 with ICSI & PGS: May/June 2015, ER 6/3/15, 17R/17M/15F
    IVF #2 with ICSI & PGS: July 2015, ER 7/16/15, 16R/11M/9F
    PGS results = 6 normal embryos (4 boys, 2 girls)
    FET 9/23/15 = BFFN
    Natural FET 11/4/15 = BFP!
    Beta 9dp5dt = 92

    Well we have a appt with the OB next week and then I will ask when he suggests we can go see the infertility dr.

    We are doing PGS this time due to my last batch of embryos having abnormalities.  Out of 6 blasts 5 implanted and grew, but we had 4 miscarriages and one was our little miracle.

    I am doing PGS if we ever get enough envies to test. I have a rare egg morphology issue and we want to make sure we are transferring the most normal embryo as possible. I second @ellebelle2384 in saying be repaired for a lot of waiting.... Waiting to test, waiting to cycle, etc

    ME: 32, SER aggregates on eggs, anovulatory
    DH:  33, 2% morphology
    TTC #1 
    2 clomid cycles, 3 hybrid clomid/bravelle IUI's = 4 BFN/1 CP@ 5.5 weeks
    IUI #6 -Follitism IUI cycle converted to IVF and back to IUI-4 mature, 3 maybe mature = BFP!!   DS Born 9/2014
    TTC#2 
    IVF #1 9/15 Antagonist- 19 R 1F (Frozen day 1 @ 2PN stage) Diagnosed with SER aggregates in 13/19 eggs after failed fertilization
    IVF #2 11/15 Antagonist w/ICSI  (Higher stims & Letrosole added last minute on stim day 7)- 39R, 24M (20/24 SER free), 15F (14/15 SER free & all frozen @ 2PN stage) 
    FET#1 Cultured all 16- 2pn embryos to day 5- transferred 1 good hatching blast and 1 early blast on 1/28- None to freeze - beta 2/5

    Well we didn't even get to the ivf part of the appt. The follow up appointment with my OB was long. He found part of the placenta from the induction last week. Im on meds to help it but may need to get a D&C. Im freaking out!

    Well I didn't need to get the D&C. I have an appointment next week and hopefully I will get some answers regarding the IVF process.
