I'm on mobile so I can't post.. but I have crocheted a couple blankets and hats, and used fabric paint to customize a few baby onsies. Other than that, sewed up a DIY moby wrap, and some woodland themed stuffed animals. I would like to tackle a ring sling next!
@AndreaBiel props to you for having the patience to crochet ! I was determined to learn how to but I just can't stay patient enough to complete anything lol
Made my little one a "costume", two blankets but I can't see To find a picture of the other one and reused some baby shower decor to decorate his wall!
@danniellemichellexox youtube! I have started small, and come from a background in knitting. Honestly so much easier than I thought, but no wonder woman that's for sure. I'm hoping to continue so I can get better, only regret was I haven't learned sooner!
I've been crafting so much to pass the time! I did the wall decor for baby's nursery, which included painting the cherry blossom design on the 'P'. I tie-dyed some white onesies because I got sooo many at my baby shower. Then I decided she needed a cute little hat for her coming home outfit and I made her a baby blanket but I don't have a picture of that.. The last thing I'm still working on though is her building block set. The blocks were handmade for me and I've been drawing on the little designs ☺️ it's been so much fun!
everyone's stuff is soooo cute !!! Makes me want to make even more ! ( helps keep my mind off waiting for our baby which is a plus ) @kassyfry let me know how it turns out !! It was sooo easy to make !
I have made her name, mobile, crib skirt, some accent pillows and am currently working on finishing up a bow holder. My hubby made her a mini "closet"/storage unit since she is sharing our room for now.
@clairesmommabear WOW that must have taken a long time how cute is that ! I've never seen a crocheted one !
Actually it only took me about three days. Then again some house work may or may not have been neglected slightly because I got so wrapped up in it... (Shhh don't tell!) Glad you like it!
I love all the creative mommas!! You all made such beautiful items for your babes! I made a headband holder and decorated the bottom of her crib with ribbons and flowers because I couldn't find a skirt I liked
I sewed some flannel on some tri-fold diapers which can be used as a cloth diaper insert or a burp cloth. I usually give these out as a baby gift, so I was excited to make some for myself. I did a few paintings for his ocean creature themed nursery. (not taking credit for the design) And I made a nursing cover which I don't have a picture of. But that was easier then I thought it would be. I'm tempted to make another, but I'm not sure how many I actually need.
I did a few other random things, but I'm getting kind of tired of sewing. I need something new to pass the time before 10/24.
I got a little crafty with some letters from my work baby shower. Hopefully will have time to work on some burp cloths and a car seat cover this weekend.
@dwaldrop, that's a great idea, I might have to track some of those trifold diapers down. Love the Batman design. What pattern did you use for the nursing cover? I was thinking of making one. I haven't had much time for sewing until now, so I'm trying to catch up before DS gets here.
Made these! Saw them on sale on etsy for $90 and decided I could make them on my own (well with the assistance of my best friend)! I spent approximately $16 in supplies and I feel like they look just as good as the ones being sold on etsy! Time consuming (about 4 hours) but totally worth it!
Re: Crafty Mamas
It has a whale, octopus, sea star, sail boat and two clouds.
