Hello ladies. I've been having a hard time finding a good maternity bra for breast feeding. Anyone know of a good store/website? Also, I've been looking for a good after delivery gown that I can wear since I'll be having a csection. Something comfy but at the same time, something thats easy to wear so I can breast feed my little one while in the hospital.... Please help... Any suggestions?

Re: Maternity Bras and Delivery Gown

  • Motherhood maternity has a nice selection of nursing bras. As for the gowns, let me know where you find one cause I have also been looking with no luck.

  • I just bought a nursing bra at target, they had a bunch of different styles and about 18bucks. I also got a robe at pinkblush maternity for a good price and it is super cute.
  • I've got multiple nursing bras on Zullilly that look like beautiful regular bras but are in fact nursing bras. They also have a lot of more basic looking nursing bras and all are at a great price. The only thing is they don't accept returns so just make sure you measure or buy something with a little wiggle room in terms of size! I've also gotten a few from Destination Maternity that are great. They are pricier but you'll get a great fit guaranteed and occasionally they have sales.
I was less than thrilled with Target's selection: I wear a 32-34F-G depending on brand and they don't even carry anything that would remotely work. Those sports bra type ones do not offer enough support at all but I did manage to find a good nursing cami there.
My delivery gown was gifted to me by my SIL and I bought all my "after birth" comfy henley pj's from Nordstrom Rack (they button down to be able to breastfeed).
  • For the hospital I would suggest buying some sleep nursing bras. They're a pretty standard style and can be found for a reasonable price. I never had much luck finding a good traditional style nursing bra so I'm no help there.

I took nice pj's to the hospital but honestly I ended up just wearing the hospital gown. It made it easier to breastfeed and the nurses come to check your vitals regularly so anything you wear should have easy access.

  • I got 3 bras from motherhood maternity on clearance for 29.99 total and 2 sleep nursing bras in amazom for 20! Happy with all 5.
