If you are already dialated have you lost your plug?

I'm just curious bc I thought I had lost it at 35 weeks but today I've been having contractions nonstop (irregular) and when I wiped I saw blood tinged mucus. I'm 2cm now.

I was at 1cm on Wednesday last week and started losing my plug (I think) the immediately following Sunday. Was at 2cm this Wednesday and definitely lost some MP today.

Hmmmm ok so maybe I'm losing it here and there but this was the most I've seen. I'm 39.5 now.

I heard it can grow back if you lose it early. So maybe you did see it a few weeks ago!

With my first I was 4 cm for over two weeks... Didn't ever have noticeable loss of plug, though it must have happened once I was I real serious labor...

37 weeks tomorrow and all I've seen is occasional watery discharge. With my first I remember losing bits and pieces and then eventually the whole thing. I'm wondering if I won't notice losing it this time?!

*Don't know if I'm dilated- baby feels pretty low though!

Been 3 cm for three weeks. Only had a little mucousy discharge a couple days.

39 weeks and 2 days here. My doc stripped my membranes last Friday and I finally started to lose my mucus plug last night. I was only 1 cm dilated when I was in the doc office. With my first I lost my plug the day before I went into labor and it was a LOT of plug throughout the day. So far, it's just been a little bit. Not blood tinged at all. I expect more in the coming day. Good luck to you!

I was 38weeks 4days when I started losing my mucus plug. I had a doc apt the following day and I was only 1cm and 70% effaced. Now I am at 39weeks 2 days, and I have continued have more discharge. It did turn into a bloody show 3 days ago. First it looked like Gelatin, then it turned brown, then had blood gel glob, then it had streaks in it. Gross but I guess it means something is happening! Next apt is We'd!

Mine came out over the course of 2 days. When I was 37w4d. I was 2cm dialated on Tuesday, and it came out Wed and Thurs after lots of contractions and pain at night.

I noticed this morning sorry TMI but after I use the restroom there were small white chunks floating in the toilet. Reminded me of when my water broke with #1 but it may be the rest of my plug

I lost mine but when they checked me at the hospital, I wasn't dilated. But----my water ended up breaking about an hour later. It was awesome that it broke (in bed) a half hour after being discharged from L&D triage (read:sarcasm).

I lost mine at 35 weeks, but it was small. I lost it again Friday and it was significantly more (38w6d). I found out I was 1cm on Thursday. So, no you could be dialted and still loose it. Sounds like you did!

I get induced on Tuesday so and I'm still losing my plug. Today happens to be the fathers bday so i think it would be awesome if I actually go into labor today butttttt I think I'll make it to Tuesday

I lost my mucus plug several weeks ago, around 34 weeks (I'm 39 weeks today). I was scared that I would go into labor but thankfully it didn't amount to anything. I didn't know that it could regenerate itself but it must have.
