Sick mama, need suggestions/help!

Ive come down with a respiratory infection and I'm trying to not get my DS (14 weeks old) sick. I work two 12-hr shifts a week and stay home with DS the other 5 days. We have no family near us and don't use a sitter/childcare. What are somethings I can do with DS to not expose him? He's been hanging out in his swing, playing with a toy on his back next to me so I can play/tickle his feet. I'm going through hand sanitizer like crazy. Just dont want to risk holding him a lot to keep him away from my germs. Any other suggestions on things I can do with him? Ps, I feel miserable!

Are you nursing? That provides some protection for infants. Hope you feel better soon!!

  • He eats donated breast milk (from my best friend), as I was never able to make even close to enough (about 3oz per day at my best). So it's all thawed from frozen breast milk, which doesn't have all the immunity-containing goodness that fresh has.
