Reglan

Hello, I was given a prescription of Reglan and I've read and heard that it can give some nasty side effects. I've been battling severe nausea and vomiting but I'm so nervous to take it. In the ER, they gave it to me in an IV and I was extremely jittery, angry and depressed. But the doctor told me that I wouldn't have the same effects via pill. I've also been on phenergan but the drowsiness affects my schooling and job. Has there been anyone that hasn't been affected severely by Reglan via pill, but has via IV? Or Reglan simply working for them?

    My sister took Reglan pills for gastroparesis awhile back and it made her crazy. She was jittery, anxious, wasn't sleeping, was angry and depressed all the time. She was horrible and it was miserable for her and everyone around her. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

    I have taken Reglan for digestive issues. IV meds and pills can cause different side effects. You take it 30 minutes before meals. I never had any side effects from it. I stopped taking it because it didn't help my nausea.

    I took reglan in July and it made me extremly jittery and shakey. I felt like I just needed to walk, or shake or something non stop. It helped my nausea but the side effects wore unbearable. I am 19 weeks and we just found a combination that works for me,finally some relief!
