I was very displeased that I was scheduled for an ultrasound and the tech didn't want to do it. My doctor ordered it the week before and wanted to reassure me that everything was okay. I arrived 15 min late because of an accident. I called to inform the staff. The tech just made up her mind and decided I didn't need one because I had one done two weeks ago. This was discussed with my doctor who knew this already and she made the decision to schedule one for me, I just didn't make a last minute schedule appear. I was upset because I have to use PTO and had to work extra hours to make up time to come to these three appointments. It wasn't last minute either that they were scheduled well in a week in advanced. I understand I was late. Alot of people were late but how is that what you think/say overruled what my doctor ordered a week ago. I was upset and I let the front desk staff know how I felt, they really didn't seem to care and seem oblivious to my concerns. People have to schedule time off work, use PTO, & make up time for work they've missed. I feel this tech was making excuses to not do my ultrasound and got a doctor involved to cover herself to not get in trouble. The doctor mentioned that "she" was going to call me ahead of time to inform me. Yeah, when I was already on my way there? This just ruined my day, poor last minute decision making, poor customer service, & making excuses because you didn't want to do your job.

I am a FTM... So everything worries me... I mean who was she to trump the dr's orders then try to get another dr to cover for her? Smh!
