Currently in the ER waiting to be seen. Had some bleeding and heavy sharp cramping. Praying for good news but I've been waiting here for 2 hours so far....
Thank you everyone for all the love and support!! It means a lot! The baby is fine so far, but is measuring at 5 weeks 4 days instead of 6 weeks 6 days and no detectable heartbeat yet. The dr isn't worried and said the bleeding was from me having sex the night prior, but I'm still not sure what baby being over a week behind means right now.

Maybe you just ovulated late? If the dr isn't worried, try not to worry either.
@kjgalarza how long and how regular were your cycles? Did you track ovulation? If you were very regular at 28 days and tracked your ovulation at exactly 14 days, yes it would be odd to be a week behind but I've also heard ultrasounds aren't that accurate for dating purposes that early. However, if your cycles were longer than 28 days or you ovulated later than the 14th day of your cycle, your EDD wouldn't be accurate based on LMP. Estimating your delivery date based on the start of your last period assumes a 28 day cycle with ovulation on the 14th day.
For example: I have 30 day cycles. I don't know when I ovulate but think it's around the 17th/18th day. Therefore, even though my current EDD based on my LMP is 9 weeks, 4 days, it's actually probably closer to 9 weeks, 1 day (or even later if I ovulate later than the 17th/18th). I won't know for sure until I go in for a dating ultrasound.
My LMP was August 18, and I usually have relatively short cycles (about 21 days) so I should've ovulated August 29, which I thought I did because CM was all eggwhites as it should've been. But I had the tiniest tinge of implantation bleeding on sept 12, so that suggests that I could've conceived Sept 2. I got my first BFP on sept 11, which was almost too light to notice. But took it again two days later and it was darker. So I'm not sure, it's really just a waiting game for right now. The dr said I can't have sex for 10-14 days and that I need to stop working so I don't overdo anything. So I guess we'll just see what happens from here.
