Hi my wife and I would love to start a family, we have a lot of research to do the how/where/how much? But what do you children call you? Is one of your mum/dad what do they call your partner spouse? I will run the birth mother but I want my wife to feel as connected as me. Would love to hear about others experiences
Hi. My wife is the birth mum and our little girl calls her mummy and she calls me mum. It's great hearing her call us mum/mummy and she isn't confused by this at all. I feel as much as her mum as my wife does. We both take equal turns of caring for her and we have a second on the way and this will be the same set up.
Hi i am not LGBT myself, but my mom is a lesbian, and i grew up in a 2 mother household , i call them both mom. if both are home i generally call my birth mother mommy.. hope that helps
Hi! I've only just been inseminated yesterday, so I have no idea if it'll take, but our plan is for the kids to call me mom and my wife dad. She's quite butch, though, (bordering on trans, even) so that comes pretty easily in our case. But I've heard of others doing the same and I kinda like it. It allows us to separate mother and father's day, too. So we don't have to share.
