Patience - I save myself crazy amounts of time by just sitting an extra 15 mins or so with her, making sure she's either sleeping or super drowsy, instead of putting her straight in the crib after winding. Otherwise I'll be up and down like a yoyo. Oh, and if that doesn't work then Daddy's Magic Hands always work too :x
Just figured this out lastnight! But just vibrating. We have this nifty little mechanism that plays music, lights up, and vibrates, it came with her play pen. We place it on her rock n' play, in her crib, or in the pack n' play and she's out like a light!
Kissing his face. Running my finger down the bridge of his nose. Wearing him in my Boba. Car rides. Holding my hand on his belly or wrapping an arm around him while he is in the co-sleeper. Talking to him and caressing his cheek or forehead calms him if he's screaming or upset.
Sitting on the couch with my feet up knees bent and him laying on my legs and just rocking him back and forth kinda fast he loves it has never let me down yet
Also if your baby takes a pacifier my baby likes it when I hold his pacifier with my thumb and put my other four fingers touching his check I think it's the smell of me or something but he falls asleep to that all the time too
Doing the 5 S's I learned from Dr Harvey Karp: swaddle, put baby in side position, shushing, swinging, and sucking. You can purchase his instructional video on iTunes (to skip shipping fee and accumulating more stuff!) She also loves koala care, lullabies, pacifier, glider and dim lighting.
Puting him on his side and watch me and my husband dance to slow soothing water sounds. It's great bonding with your loved one as well after a hard 3 months.
Stroking her forehead gently, that or daddy places his hand on her chest whilst softly going shooooooo - tried this myself but was out of breath in no time lol xx
