It's been cooler here too....I've still only been putting a onesie on under swaddle, but when he is hanging out or napping I have him in footed pajamas. However, I have a feeling that when I pick him up from his grandmas today she will have changed him back to his onesie- she always says he's too hot- but his hands and feet are always cold!! I might have to stop packing an extra onesie!
So far we're doing a terry cloth or fleece jammies with a light sleep sack.
This minus the sleep sack. Cloth or Fleece footed jammies are what my baby lives in at home. I can't keep him in a onesie or his leg freeze and I am not doing pants because changing a diaper is a headache that way.
I like the footed jammies because I don't have to put socks on (since he usually ends up losing one or taking them off.) my baby boy loves them and it seems a lot more comfortable for him! And it's easier to change diapers in!! So I love them too
I started her out sleeping in a onesie. I eventually started putting her in a sleeper and it did wonders. She slept 6 hours straight the first night in a sleeper. She hasn't slept in a onesie since.
We have him in a swaddle with just a diaper underneath, he won't sleep for longer than a few minutes without a swaddle and he is a little heater, well see how it goes when winter hits though.
My LO is warm-blooded like his daddy. We keep it pretty warm in our house, usually high 70s to low 80s... So LO is usually in a side snap tee and his diaper. When we had the AC blasting during this Cali summer, he was always in zip-up footed pajamas - these things are GENIUS! Every parent needs to know to skip the snap ups and only get the zip ups! We were initially using the Gerber ones but they lose their stretch after a wash or two. Love the Carter and Old Navy ones!
My mother slept over recently and had a Gerber, white onesie under a long sleeve, footed zip up onesie, and then a swaddle over it. I thought... Should I be doing this? We keep the house between 67-70, and I'm always cold when I'm awake but hot when I sleep.
