T-25

Has anyone done T-25? I'm due in September and my husband will be deployed so i'll be home with a newborn and three year old on my own.  I am looking forward to getting back into shape after the baby is here but i'm worried about bringing a six week old to the gym daycare.  I think T-25 would be my best bet since it only takes a half hour and can be done at home while the babes are sleeping.  I would love to hear feedback on what people think of T-25 since it's a bit expensive.  Thanks!

Sorry if this has been posted before but I searched and couldn't find anything.

  • I've done the workouts but did not religiously stick to the regimen. It will certainly make you break a sweat in a short amount of time!
  • I enjoy T25 and it's a good start to get back into shape. There is modified version too if you are not as advanced. I like that it's only 30 min but I do get bored with it sometimes but it's worth a try. If you don't want to spend the money there are lots of other home exercise DVDs that are good like Jillian Michaels.
  • I've done T25, it's definitely a workout. By week 8 I think I was almost burnout from the workouts though. I did see results but didn't stick to the eating guide (just ate healthier). If you have on demand you can get workouts on there, I would recommend that as opposed to buying T25. Look on amazon or ebay for T25 though if you decide on that and you'll hopefully be able to save some money. Good luck!

  • Hi there I have done it and it was a little to intense for me. I found the 21 day fix and absolutely love it. I'm on day 6 and have already lost 4 pounds. It's all about clean eating, portion controls and getting in a quick 30 minute workout everyday. If you're interested in trying it or would like more info you can email me at gettingfitwithme21@gmail.com :)
  • I finished T25 just before getting pregnant. It is no joke! I didn't see much weight loss but my muscles were amazing! (I did the modified version a lot due to bad ankles--lots of jumping in this series). Mine came with two 5 week cycles, Alpha and Beta, and I agree with PP that it gets a little old toward the fourth week of each.
  • I'd love to recommend a fitness expert that I found on You Tube whose workouts totally kick my butt and who offers them for free. Her name is Christine Salus -- you can find her if you search that. As a bonus, she has designed some workouts that are "silent," which means that if you are in an older house like mine you won't wake any little ones up by jumping around on ancient hardwood floors. They are all HIIT workouts, and the "silent" ones simply substitute low-impact exercises like kettlebell swings, squats, planks, pushups, etc.

I have a bunch of friends who do Beachbody workouts and I have done a few and love them, but like you I have trouble stomaching the expense!

  • I have done 21 day fix nutrition and Piyo , Cize and 21 day fitness for the past 7 months since my son was born.
I didn't want to take the boys to a gym- so the at home work outs are perfect and you really do see results ! I've lost 72 pounds since March! It's awesome
