Shooting Guns

I am approx. 7 weeks along with hunting season around the corner. Is it safe to shoot guns?

    Yes. My cousin went hunting while she was pregnant. She was pretty far along. I plan on going. I can't wait.

    I still go to the range regularly. I also just went dove hunting with my DH and plan on deer hunting as well.

    We had a group trip with work to gun range for a team building event. I called the dr to ask and they told me no way! Too much lead exposure. Being outside may be different but they said it gets trapped in the air inside.

    It depends on the ammo you use though. You can find varying lead levels within ammo based in various calibers. Also if it's an outdoor range, the exposure is different as well. Airflow and range dynamics play a role with that too.
