Disneyland this weekend

I just found out this past weekend I'm pregnant!! And we are leaving to Disneyland today. Do you think it's ok to ride some rides?! I'm 4 weeks and 5 days.
Thanks

Re: Disneyland this weekend

  • Been wondering the same thing!  I live 15 minutes away from Disneyland and we have annual passes.  Going next week...I was thinking some of the slower rides are okay.
  • Loading the player...
  • They have signs on rides where pregnant women can't ride. Slow rides are okay just nothing with a lot of jerking motion. Have fun guys!!!!
  • Yeah I was thinking the something!! But I have to do splash mountain:))) I read a lot and I think I will say away from the fast ones!!! I just wished there was a 5 hour energy that was safe to take. I'm so tired :(
  • I would think use your good judgement. You're fairly early along - baby is well protected in there.

I'd be more worried about vomit-inducing rides, really.

  • It's not worth this risk to me.

    Yup, this ^^
I went to Disney World when I was 20 weeks.  Totally fine, just don't go on the rides that specifically says they aren't for preggos.

  • I definitely wouldn't go on Splash Mountain, but that's just my personal opinion. My husband and I are actually leaving tomorrow morning for Disney World for five days... We are doing the food and wine festival and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I plan on going on nothing but slow baby rides and enjoying the shows haha.

the slower rides are ok. Anything that specifically says not for pregnant women is best to skip. Anything with a drop is not worth the risk in my opinion.

Edited to add this: I am going to Disney World in 2 weeks and if I'm KU (oh hi...just lurking in hopes of joining) I will be doing the slower rides and skipping anything with a big drop like tower of terror and splash mountain.

  • I agree with PP's.. I wouldn't take the risk.

  • We are going to Disneyland for the day on Thurs and I will be 4 weeks pregnant this weekend. I plan on doing most rides but no teacups or fast rollercoasters or driving the cars that people can ram into you in. I have a 2 year old, so pretty much whatever he can't go on neither will I lol.
