Are any of you ladies familiar with baby sign language, if so, did it work for you? Are you going to try it? Can you suggest any good resources, based on your own experience of course. Thank you!
I never saw that thread either! My daughter learned sign language from her daycare. Simple stuff like more, hungry, please, ext. and it was awesome! I'm definitely going to try and teach my son
I think it's awesome! We didn't start teaching my son, who is three, until about six months ago. It really helped with his vocabulary and helped him communicate his needs which lead to fewer tantrums. I will absolutely be teaching sign to this new babe from birth.
I also run a daycare in my home. After introducing sign, I was better and to gage what my children knew vs. what they didn't.
