Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: Last appointment: Sept. 17, heard baby's heartbeat (168) everything is good! Next appt: Oct. 29
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I have been feeling very tired and sick in the evenings, but I think it's passing! Hopefully I can get back on schedule soon. I have been SO lazy!

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My NT scan was a couple weeks ago, it went really well. It's amazing how they look like real babies when they are so tiny. Next appt is at 16 weeks, then again at 20. We get 2 anatomy scans, which I understand is kind of rare. I get excited to see the baby! It somehow feels like all the crap I am feeling now is worth it....
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? : Pretty crappy at the moment. The nausea has mostly subsided, although I still feel it a bit. I am so, so, so tired but can't sleep at night. Pregnancy hormones really caught up to me last night. We have a wedding tomorrow and I haven't announced my pregnancy and really don't ever plan to "announce" it, but I really don't want to start telling people at someone else's wedding. I bought 4 dresses and literally none of them fit me. I had a melt down about it last night- I just feel fat and gross and bad about my body.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? Fall! Apple picking!

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: Most recent appt was Monday am. I had the NT Scan done and baby looks great. Sent off for NT blood panel, haven't gotten results back yet. Next Appt is Oct. 22nd with OB, not sure what to expect, it's my second OB appt. I have another Appt Oct. 26 with my Perinatal Specialist and we should find out gender then. (So long as baby cooperates)
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Extremely tired. I feel like I'm running on fumes all the time.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? Fall because of festival food!
Team: Staying green! found out with my last 2 so I am excited for the surprise this time!
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I just got back! It went great. I took the kids with me, they have been so excited to hear the heartbeat!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? MS comes and goes, its not all day everyday like it was. I have started getting headaches though.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? Definitely Christmas! Christmas music, Christmas baking, Christmas festivals, ugly sweater parties, family, decorations I'm a sucker for it all! We've lost 2 close family members within days of Christmas within the past 5 years, I've really tried to not let it ruin the season for us!

Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year?
Fall. I love going for walks when the leaves are changing.

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My next appointment is Tuesday, Oct 6 and it will be the NT scan. I'm nervous and not looking forward to it based on past unpleasant experiences.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Based on my past obstetric history, I really would have liked to have taken the MaterniT21 Plus test before my NT scan so I can have the results back by the time I go in for the ultrasound. So now if my NT scan shows up with something I'll have to wait another effing week for the MaterniT21 Plus results to come back only because my MFM doctor doesn't recommend it to be taken until the time of the scan as the test may not be appropriate for some. They are aware of my history so I'm pretty sure I'd be having the test done anyway. I really don't see why I couldn't have come in and get the lab done a week early so I can have the result by the time I had the scan. Not reassuring at all. Not that it matters anymore, but I sent a concern to the Comprehensive Office regarding my concern so maybe in the future they will consider cases like mine as an exception to the procedure so women can get MaterniT21 done a week before their ultrasound so they can give them a peace of mind. We'll see how that turns out.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? My favorite season is fall because the weather is cool and the leaves change into beautiful colors. I also have a 2 year old so trick or treating will be fun with her. There's so many community events for kids during Halloween that I plan on taking her to at least 3 of them. Oh, and pumpkin spice everything. And cute DIY Halloween decorations. Also the awesome slasher flicks are back in season!

Team: (blue/pink/staying green) TBD but hoping for pink - had blood drawn yesterday for panorama screening so will hopefully know in the next 2 weeks!
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: First OB appt October 8th. Hoping we'll get another u/s then but not sure.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Still nauseous off an on and still barfing on occasion. Last night was pretty bad. Also feeling very tired by the end of the week without the ability to take naps during the day.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? I actually love winter here (I'm in Phoenix, so it's like fall most other places). Best weather of the year so you can actually do stuff outside during the day! And Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, so that helps too.

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I had an appointment at 11 weeks. Saw a healthy, wiggling bean! My next appt is at 15 weeks, where they will schedule the big u/s. I can't WAIT to find out what I'm having!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Feeling really good. My intense fatigue went away at 10 weeks and I feel 80% normal.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: what is your favorite season and what activities are your favorite during that time of year? Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather (though here in CA we haven't seen much cool weather yet). I love the fall activities with the kids, like picking pumpkins, going to the apple orchards, etc.
