Symptoms: A bit of fatigue, still waking up some night having to pee.
Rant/Raves: Rant: I had my first labor and delivery nightmare last night. I dreamt that I didn't make it to the hospital in time, and then the hospital wouldn't give me my baby!
Questions: For second-time moms, with your first, did you all of a sudden 'pop' one day? Or did you gradually show over time?
Future appointment: 10/19 for 16 week check up.
GTKY: it's October, so let's talk Halloween costumes. If you had to pick today what your baby's first Halloween costume will be, what is it? Bumblebee. Baby bumblebees are just too cute.
Symptoms: I think the sickness is finally subsiding a little bit. It is not just mostly in the evenings but now I have been having more stomach pains.
Rant/Raves: I finally got to hear the heartbeat last week!

Future appointment: October 21st and we have out NT scan November 23rd!

I didn't really get any kind of costume for DS last year since he was only 6 months old. I just bought a monster onesie with a little hat. This year I really kind of want him to go as an Ewok. I have seen some really cute ideas on Pinterest!
Symptoms: Nausea and tiredness have decreased a bit more (yay!)
Rant: Not really a rant, but I'm nervous about telling my boss next week. My only two colleagues have resigned, effective in November, and I will be managing the replacement for one. I think my maternity leave might put that in jeopardy, aside from freaking out my boss even more.
Rave: Our NT was normal last week. Just waiting on all of the blood results, including a pre-eclampsia screening
Questions: Are you ladies starting to show? I have never carried weight in my stomach, so I definitely have a bump now.
Future appointment: Check-up on 10/9
GTKY: I saw the most adorable penguin outfit the other day.
Symptoms: Still so tired. Other than that, nothing that notable.
Raves: we're having TWINS! Identical. They don't run in our family at all. We'll be telling my parents this weekend. Eeeek!
Rant: why do people feel it's ok to ask if they are natural? That's personal. They are, but what difference does it make!
Questions: Nada
Future appointment: Next one at 16 weeks for another checkup ultrasound and a second blood draw for chromosomal abnormalities.
GTKY: my DD was an elephant for her first Halloween. Cuteness overload.
I think animal costumes are adorable. Maybe we could do lions, tigers and bears since we'll have 3 little ones next year.
Symptoms: dry mouth, back pain, tiredness, fat bump starting to show
Rant/Raves: There need to be some rules about bike riders. I go to college on campus and people ride their bikes around often with no hands or texting while riding them, and I am so afraid of getting crashed into by a bike!
Questions: None right now...

Symptoms: exhaustion, heartburn, stuffy nose
Rants/raves: I had the NIPT blood tests done, as well as the NT scan but the nurse told me that "No news is good news." But I wish they would call anyway to let me know if everything came back normal. I'm also going to call tomorrow and ask if the results showed the sex, because if not, we are going to an elective ultrasound place to get a sex confirmation ultrasound. I'm okay with waiting till the anatomy scan, but dh really wants to find out sooner.
Questions: why is watermelon gum so good?? I wish the flavor would last longer though!
Future appt: 10/13
Gtky: I saw a pic on pinterest of a baby dressed as Wilson from Castaway. I thought it was hilarious!
