Anyone carrying super low?

I am carrying super low and was wondering if there is anyone who is just as uncomfortable during pregnancy

Re: Anyone carrying super low?

  • I'm carrying pretty low. Other than the back ache that has started at night, I'm doing ok. Prenatal yoga helps!

  • Yep I am! She kicks my vagina constantly. I get super sore down there bc she puts her head on my cervix. I've recently tried some prenatal yoga for hip stretches and that's made me much more comfortable especially if you do them right before bed.
  • I'm carrying low and wiiiiide lol. I'm so jealous of these ladies with cute bumps! I'm 22 weeks, and I'm just barely starting to look pregnant instead of chubby.
  • I'm carrying super low this time. I've got backaches from my already problematic lower back and shooting pains into my hips and pubic symphysis area. Last night was the worse it's been so far and I've been cramping a bit in one hip area. This is my second and I realize how spoiled I was with my first. Must be a boy thing.
  • Yes super low. I think that's where all my back pain comes from
  • @SashaMSmith I hear you on all of that! I had the PSD with my first and it has naturally come back with this pregnancy and I had a rough labor that messed up my spine so I've got new pain associated with that. Getting out of bed in the morning is probably the most painful thing I do every day. Walking is second. Do you have a pelvic stabilizer belt? I couldn't live without mine!

  • I feel like I am carrying low this time. My back is killing me and it feels like she is pushing my hips out!! My son carried super high, pushing on my ribs the whole time, it has been so different this time.

I am carrying low and when LO has a wriggle it is like she is trying to burst out! Bad lower back pain also! However I am so jealous of your bumps! I look like I have eaten a large lunch!! Where's my cute baby bump!
  • Same here! Super low and wide with hardly any baby bump! I swear people are probably starting to wonder if I'm faking this pregnancy bc all they say is "where's your bump at?" Which is kinda annoying and makes me jealous! I'm 24 weeks tomorrow so I feel like the bump should be showing up but no luck yet!!

Yes!! Someone else feels like me!! I'm 24 weeks and feel chubby most days. He sits so low, and usually towards my back, I don't feel like I look pregnant at all!! Then if he moves vertical, I often say, "there IS a baby in there!!"

  • I carried my son low and I'm carrying this baby girl even lower. I can't really sit with my legs crossed. Lower back and pain in the ligaments that run across my pubic bone.
  • Low an wide here too. Only pains I am having is when I bend over. It's putting too much pressure on baby.
  • Super low too! I work on my feet which I feel like it part of the reason she's staying down there. Sitting for more than an hour is so uncomfortable for me too! Everyone keeps saying I'm small for almost 6 months, but I know she's her right size, just laying across at my hips and my lower back!
  • I'm in the same boat , getting wierd kicks to my cervix yayyy! I have a posterior placenta so I'm feeling constant movement while she's awake which is fun. I too have a minimal baby bump at 25 weeks . I'm always impressed when people have enough courage to call me out and say congrats without knowing for sure . And others I can talk to at a wedding or store for some period of time without them noticing :/
  • I think I am carrying pretty low too. I say that, because this is my first and honestly, I don't know what is really considered low or just normal for where I'm at in pregnancy.  I still feel tons of movement down near my lady parts and I am 23 weeks today.  I feel like at this point, I should be feeling the movement a little more higher up, but maybe not.  I actually have to go back for a 28 week scan, because the placenta was only 2cm away from my cervix, so they want to check for movement.  I'll see what my doctor thinks if I'm still feeling this way.
  • I'm 26w with twins, my little girl is super low with a borderline low anterior placenta. My little boy is sitting higher with a posterior placenta. So as you can imagine I have a very interesting shaped bump! I feel the girl kicking through my cervix mostly. I get so uncomfortable sitting up straight for too long, if we're at dinner I tend to lounge and wriggle around a lot. Bending over is horrible too!
  • Glad this isn't just me. People have actually started to comment about how low I am carrying!
  • Super low and according to the ultrasound, breech right now. This means I think I have a future Irish step dancer jigging on my bladder. All. The. Time.
  • Something's definitely going on way down there, last night I swear I looked between my legs to make sure a foot hadn't come out.  Weirdest feeling ever!
  • Carrying very low. Its so uncomfortable. I have extreme back pain but mostly when I move my right leg, like its my hip joint or something. Laying down is my most uncomfortable position because he is SO strong and kicks at my cervix constantly. Really any movement from him is incredibly uncomfortable. Sometimes i get a few kicks up and inch or 2 over my belly button and i tey to appreciate them as much as possible lol. 24 weeks Friday!
  • I feel like I'm carrying super low, when she moves I fell like I'm literally going to pee my pants. It's so uncomfortable, I can feel her moving down at my pelvic bone. My first was the opposite, carried super high.
  • I'm carrying really low... This is my first but I know it's low because I can still suck in the upper part of my stomach and I'm nearly 27 weeks... The constant bladder pressure is definitely uncomfortable... Sometimes I don't realise how busting I am until I stand up and nearly pee myself. And sitting in the car for long periods is also very uncomfy. I've had sciatic pain for most of the pregnancy and ligament pain a long time too- I'm going through a phase where they are less severe which is nice but stretching and light cross trainer help. Omg and the kicking to the cervix... Very frequent- very uncomfy and difficult to share with hubby :-). So glad you wrote this Post OP!
  • FTM, so like a pp mentioned, I don't actually know what is considered low. A bunch of people have told me I'm carrying low though. It would make sense, since any and all movement is below my belly button.

Mine is super odd! Baby girl is already locked and loaded head first, butt upward toward my belly button, and feet to my right side. She punches my pelvic bone and hits a nerve that constantly feels like a swift kick to the vag. She "shows her butt" by somehow pushing it up and completely distorting my belly. She takes the heel of her foot across the same spot all day long and causes me such pain from it staying so tender. Now, from ultrasounds and the feels I know she's chilling out real low, but everything else inside me has me looking like I'm carrying high. It makes sense when thinking about it, but makes no sense at all at the same time. DD#1 was super low too, but I never had anything else pushed up so high. I cannot breathe this time to save my life! My poor lungs are squished! Here's to 26w2d down and less than 14w to go!
  • Holy cow! I can finally upload! Here's my high belly and low baby. Lol
  • One is riding low and his brother is higher. They are side by side. Reading the comments makes me feel so much better. I have had such a pain on the lower left and thought I must have pulled a muscle. Maybe I did but that is also my low baby's head pushing in the same area.
My only concern is that I am going in for yet another anatomy scan because Right gets all the good pictures and Left is sitting low enough that MFM hasn't gotten images of the head/brain like he is wanting and other parts are a bit obscured.
I have been talking to the babies and asking them to kindly shift positions a bit and would Left please move higher for Mama.

I am EXACTLY the same, girl low boy high and placentas same too! My bump just looks huge, and people keep saying to me..not much longer.
  • @JDBtwinmama Yep, if one more person comments on how big I look I might punch them!! I had a male shop assistant ask me how far along I am then reply with "oh are you sure you're not further along?!" Then "oh thank God you said it's twins because woooah" needless to say I did not buy any thing from there!!
  • I just don't get it! Why does basic etiquette go out the window when speaking with a pregnant woman? No one would EVER comment on a woman's figure and think it was appropriate if she wasn't pregnant!
  • I feel like she's going to drop right out of my vagina when I'm walking. Glad I'm not the only one. Some days I look like I'm pregnant and other days I look like I ate a Big Mac. Me on left in white
  • I'm glad you said that about the weird kicks to the cervix-it feels really bizarre and baby has been hanging out down low for the last week I swear!

  • Zomg! Me! He is so low he is splitting my pelvis in half! Seriously. So painful. They bumped me to 2 week appts because My pelvis is already starting to "soften".
