7weeks4days w/twins & spotting?

i am 7wks and 4days with twins, but the last few days I've been spotting. Not a huge amount, but usually when I go to the bathroom. It's more of a brownish color and I don't really have cramping. I've heard it's more common with twins but I'm still a little worried. Has any other mommas experienced this?

    No experience with it but I would definitely just call your doctor. When in doubt, always call.

    Definitely tell your doc you are spotting so that they can document and monitor. If it helps, I woke up at 12 weeks with my DD and had heavy bleeding like a period. Turned out I had a subchorionic hematoma and it stopped after a couple of days. She was perfectly fine. Hang in there momma!

    @megvines18 I too am pregnant with twins and started spotting 3 days ago.I am 6 wks 3 days today.I also have a decent amount of cramping. I did go to the dr yesterday and she told me to relax on doing so much and lift nothing for 1 week after the spotting stops. She was not overly concerned however my only experience with a pregnancy was ectopic and lost a fallopian tube and ovary. My other fallopian tube had been removed several years earlier. I assume that the streching of the scar tissue where my fallopian tubes used to be may be causing my discomfort however it is also dark brown spotting and usually not even enough to make it to my panties. Sorry if tmi. I recommend getting checked they will make sure your cervix is still closed and see if there's any reason for concern. Always better safe then sorry. I hate being part of the percentage of women that spot during pregnancy as I find it very nerve-wracking. Please keep us updated as I know how worries this can be.

    With my girls I spotted because they spent so much time trying to find the membrane separating them with a trans vag ultrasound (identical twins). I had to get the RH shot but aside from that I was fine.

    Same here. I am 10 weeks now but have been spotting since week 6 with twins. It varies between just a little brown to full flow with clots and everything is still good! They did have me get weekly ultrasounds but because they could see the blood on the ultrasound were not worried. Good luck!!!
